We are over the moon to announce that following our League winning season and our ground been passed by the FA we are now officially promoted 👏🏻👏🏻🎉🎉🍾🍾
Middleton is now a Semi Professional Football Club…

🔰
Surely if a team walks off during a game we get the win but we will see the outcome. Abandoned but if anything other than a Middleton win that will be the end of us because what’s the point? Everytime your losing you might aswell walk off and replay it… over to you
@OfficialYAL

We are delighted to welcome Helmo Silva to the club. A former Garforth Town, and most recently Albion Sports regular he brings bags of experience from the division above and adds some serious quality to our squad. We look forward to seeing him in his new colours.

Thank you for your fantastic support this evening. 255 in attendance tonight 👏🏻👏🏻
We hope you enjoyed your night and apologise for the little teething problems we faced tonight.

We would like to wish Richard Collier all the best as he joins
@frickleyafc
. The most random signing turned out to be a blossoming 2 years. Very loyal and commited player who turned down offer after offer until moving to Barnsley has made the decision an easy 1 close to his home.
🟢🟡 300 🟡🟢
Yesterday’s game was our First Team Manager Reece Mudd’s 300th game in charge of the Football Club. He has seen it all from day one and been there every step of the way. Here’s to the next 300…
Well Done Gaffer 👏🏻👏🏻
It’s all good and well getting football back which is great, but all these options for no relegation and promotion. Your just playing glorified friendlies. Where is the justice for teams who have been in promotion places for 2 years straight?
@OfficialYAL
Our Gaffer 👑🤝 Started a Sunday League team 7 years ago with a few mates at 22 years old. Fast forward to 29 years old, a few grey hairs later ready to take on our biggest challenge yet ⚽️
2017 playing Sunday mornings at Bottom of Ave Rec. 2024 Semi Pro football for Middleton. What a journey looking forward to the challenge ⚽️ Thank you for all the messages 💚
Good win for the First Team this afternoon away at a good Harrogate Railway. Creating chances hasn’t been an issue for us after a frustrating opening week but putting them away has. Total opposite today very creative and on hand to put them in the back of the net 💪🏻
🔰
✍🏻✍🏻
We are delighted to welcome our next signing, Joe O’Neill. He is very well known in our area having been Captain of a very succesful Carlton Athletic side winning everything possible in amateur football and also has a lot of experience in Semi Pro football. 🤝

PROMOTED 🎉🎉🍾🍾
Tonight’s win confirms The Reserves Promotion to the

We aren’t a multi million pound club who can just build top end changing rooms. When we went step 7 we got a container for a refs room. Has a working shower and lights etc.

continue to hound us about it. Does anyone see a problem? (We know it’s not state of the art)

Well done to the Yorkshire Amateur League Rep Team who retained the Ernest Fairclough Memorial Inter League Trophy after a 1-1 draw with York Football League last night. 8 people involved from Middleton, fantastic achievement for the club. ⚽️
Congratulations to our Manager Reece Mudd who took charge of his 100th Middleton game today, fantastic win to mark the occasion. Hats off to how he has took this team on over the past 3 years. Here’s to another 100 Gaffer 💚💛
⏰ - 3 Seasons
⚽️ - 100 Matches

Really positive performance from the lads this afternoon. Solid off the ball as we made it very difficult for Goole to break us down and really good in possession as we raced to a 2 goal lead and continued to create chances to extend our lead throughout. Pre Season ✅
🔰
🤝🤝🤝
We are delighted to extend our stay at the SLYH and have agreed for it to become our long term home. Worked with us in the install of our Officials changing room to allow us to play at Step 7 and offer us arguably the best facilities in our area.

We are delighted to announce the signing of midfielder Mo Kaba. He brings tons of experience in the NCEL playing at the likes of Eccleshill United, Albion Sports and most recently Armthorpe Welfare. We look forward to seeing Mo in action and what he brings to the team.
🔰
Poor from you boys here. You cant get beat by 9 goals and blame injuries and being late. What you probably should have said is the far better team won on the day. You could have turned up before breakfast and you would have still got pumped 👍
Congratulations to Hunslet on their semi final win tonight….

We are pleased to welcome new signing Harvey Walker. Harvey has spent the past few seasons playing at fellow NCEL club Nostell Miners Welfare but has made the move to South Leeds bringing us another experienced player in the league and helps bolster our squad..
🔰
AND BREATHE 😅😅. Wow, what a performance from the boys. A red card sees us play the majority of the 2nd half with 10 men and the character from those lads was second to none under the cosh for 30/40 minutes just weathering storm after storm. Serious 3 Points! 🤝
🔰
The Club are delighted to announce that Danny Chadwick has accepted a new role to become the First Teams Assistant Manager. One of the clubs marquee signings a few years back that helped fire us to where we are now and we are looking forward to the new journey!

We are delighted to announce our next signing for the new season,
@WillHarling_4
. Will joins us having been ever present at pre season so far and has fit in brilliantly with the lads. Quality player who is versatile, offers us plenty of experience at this level
Well done to our boys Dave Pickering, Scott Burns, Taylor Starkey, Jordan Duncan, James Law & Manager Reece Mudd who have all been selected to play for the Yorkshire Amateur League Rep Team to play York next Wednesday evening @ Nostell Miners Welfare, 7:45 KO
⚽️🔰
The First Team are through to the next round of the League Cup after a poor first half trailing 1-0 a much needed improvement in the 2nd half saw us score 5 to cruise home comfortable winners against Shelley tonight.
🔰
✍🏻✍🏻
We are happy to welcome our next new signing in full back Ben McCready. A very experienced player who has played at various levels in the non league pyramid throughout his career and most recently in the Counties Leagues with the likes of Albion Sports, Thackley and Steeton
✍🏻✍🏻
We are pleased to welcome the signing of Goalkeeper Callum Gladding to the club. Callum has spent the last few seasons at Wakefield in the NCEL before turning out for West Yorkshire League side Hall Green United last season.
🔰
🚨 DEADLINE DAY 🚨
Unfortunately for us
@JamesLaw10
has been subject to offers on offers on offers to go back to the level he belongs at.
We wish him all the best going forward he has been an absolute animal for us and possibly the best player ever to Don the MFC shirt.
What a game, great showcase for the league 2 good sides going at it. 1-0 up HT, Littletown turn it round 1-2 on the hour but the boys showed great heart and character to put together a great final 20 minutes levelling the game and getting the winner in the 87th minute.

Pre Season is officially over and we look forward to beginning our new journey at Step 6. A tough opening fixture away at Dronfield Town. The club have put ridiculous work in behind the scenes to get to this point and the lads have done the hard yards. All support welcome 🔰
Nice to see a few local leagues planning to continue in March all being well, rather than making any rash decision on null and voiding seasons be nice to play as much as we can March - May all being well 🤞🏼🤞🏼⚽️⚽️
@OfficialYAL
Due to our home pitch awaiting new goalposts thanks to some lovely vandals. Our friends at
@RobinHoodAthFC
have generously let us use their fantastic facilities to get our fixture played. We owe you massively!!

We are delighted to welcome the signing of Paul Diamond. A very experienced Goalkeeper who joins us from fellow NCEL side Yorkshire Amateurs and subject to League approval we hope to see him feature in the squad this weekend. 🧤🧤
🔰
First Team make it 2 wins from 2 at Lower Hopton. Dominant 1st Half, Lower Hopton down to 10 in the opening 15 minutes. Difficult to get going in the 2nd after a big lead but they boys get the 3 points. Debut goals for Taylor Starkey and Jordan Walker ⚽️

🔰
Gutting way to end our league cup run but the boys put a massive shift in it just wasn’t enough. Very good in parts of the game but 1 team took their chances and 1 didn’t. Fantastic effort for our first season at this level. Congratulations
@R1_Rovers
great side..

We are delighted to welcome our next signing for the new season, Ben Agu. Ben joins us having previously known about him from our games vs Hunslet in the past and most recently playing at Horbury Town in NCEL, Ben gives us extra fire power in our attacking options.
🔰🔰🔰
🚨 Player departure 🚨
All the very best to Liam Mudd from everyone at the club as he has decided to move away from the club after 7 trophy filled season’s with the club, a committed player who always give his all giving us 142 appearances and 12 goals. All the best mate 🔰
Massive shout out to Luke Boden and Liam Bentley spending the night at The Hub doing some work on our famous Officials Changing Room to get it up to spec.
Easy way out of training 😶🌫️
🤝🤝🤝
The First Team cruise to another 3 points this afternoon at Shelley with a first half demolition job seeing us lead 5-0 at Half Time. A lacklustre second half followed with the game already wrapped up but its job done and a clean sheet..
🔰
@ReeceMudd4
and the boys are doing their bit to help out the
@SpursOldBoys
player who sadly broke his Tibia and Fibula in our game Saturday. Dig deep any clubs or lads want to get involved it will go a long way and be massively appreciated!

A very depleted squad tonight, 4 of the Reserves lads in none of them looked out of place. Really good team performance overall couple of poor goals conceded with a lapse in concentration but a solid win with the cards we’ve been dealt.

The Firsts Teams opening Pre Season friendly ends with a 3-2 victory over NCEL side
@Glassywelfare
The boys raced to a 3-0 lead before a penalty and a late Glasshoughton goal closed the gap but a great start to Pre Season ⚽️

Full time here at the South Leeds stadium as we progress into the next round of the cup with a fantastic second half display which saw us score 5 and run out 5-1 winners!

Delighted to welcome our first signing for the new season Bradley Parkinson. Brad was on our radar straight away having caused us a load of problems when he played against us in both games last season. Brilliant player with bags of potential ready to make the step up with

The First Team pick up 3 points on the road against a good side in Ilkley Town. Rode our luck at times but showed our gritty side to muck in together and grind out a very good win.

Another great night at the Hub for the First Team great atmosphere again and top performance from the boys. Credit to

Just 3 seasons ago today. We were crowned Champions of the 5th Tier in the Yorkshire Amateur League, quite a remarkable rise to where we are now. It’s been a great journey so far with many highs and lows but our aim is to establish ourselves as one of the top clubs in Leeds ⚽️🔰
Tonights win confirms that Middleton U23s are now West Riding County FA U23 Central Division Champions with 4 games to spare…
Unbelievable effort from everyone involved, some top clubs involved both Semi Professional and Amateur but this group of lads just keep giving!
🏆🏆🏆
The First Team make it 3 wins on the bounce as we see off a good side in Wakefield this afternoon. A slow start saw us concede from a set piece in the opening 5 minutes but a fantastic shift from all the boys with 2 brilliant goals to claim another 3 points..
