What's the formula for a truly fulfilling life?
It's all about the Six Human Needs
Coined by Tony Robbins, this framework is the secret behind why some people thrive while others just survive.
It consists of six levels: 🧵
"Shogun" is the best show on TV right now.
It's packed with eye-opening insights into Japanese culture and epic quotes.
Here are some memorable lines from the book:
Joe Rogan interviews big names like Elon Musk, Lance Armstrong, and Kanye West.
He can talk to guests for 3 hours without running out of things to say.
Reflecting on his interviews, I've identified 6 techniques that make him an excellent conversationalist:

The budget makes sense.
$100,000 spent on the production.
$5.9m spent on private military force to fight off the homeless during the shoot.
This is Sir Adrian Carton de Wiart.
AKA the "unkillable soldier"
His story is absolutely insane.
The kind you'd think was made up if it wasn't all true:
If you're an absolute savage who doesn't know when to stop here's a simple formula for avoiding burnout that worked for me:
Daily = 6-8 hours of sleep.
Every week = at least one 24-hour period off.
Every month = at least one 72-hour period off.
Every 6 months = at
Building a new habit isn't just about consistency.
It's about reaching a point where you can't imagine your life without it.
Here's how fitness became more than a habit for me—it became a necessity…

Your underdog story.
Here’s why you NEED to incorporate your underdog story into your brand:

To build a bada** Personal Brand, you must know these 7 principles…
Strength and Resilience:
“A man who does not control his own fear is a slave.”
“There is no ‘happiness in life’ without action.”
“The sun will rise, and we will try again.”

Psychology.

It’s easier than ever to get high-ticket clients.

I think Spotify Wrapped is pretty effing cool.
But no matter how amazing the end product is, data is what makes it work.
Today, let's learn how to use data in marketing, just as giants like Netflix and Spotify do.
@TopDownHockey
Abusing the already depressed and disillusioned fan base by shitting on Yzerman (blessed be thy name) is not very nice!
It's good for engagement. But still not nice.
Be nice!

1. Curiosity
Be interested in them.
Put the spotlight on them and don't expect the favor back.
Focus on learning something new instead of trying to “make a connection.”
Connections will happen naturally.
This is Sahil Bloom.
He went from 0 to 1M+ followers in 3 years while building a 7-figure creator business.
His content "hacks" allowed him to quit his 6-figure job.
Here are the 8 steps he used to rapidly grow an engaged audience from scratch:
Productivity is Bullshit!
Sam Ovens exposed it as a lie while building a 7-figure business.
His radical "do less" system allowed him to escape the corporate grind.
Here are the 8 steps he used to 10X his output:
You can’t stand out in the marketing world without using SOCIAL PROOF effectively.
It’s absolute gold.
Here’s how you can build trust with social proof and not be seen as just another marketer:
3. Laugh Often
Ever notice how good it feels to make someone laugh?
Laughing together is like a secret handshake.
Smiling and laughing is a sign of safety, comfort and openness.
Success in sales isn’t about the smoothest pitch or the perfect product.
It’s about persistence and adaptability.
I learned this the hard way.
I’ve seen deals collapse and had to pivot strategies on the fly:
It’s smart to enjoy life like a child does.
It’s also smart to make decisions that your 80-year-old self would make.
It takes wisdom to know when to pull the lever on each.
Navigating this balance is the essence of living a fulfilled and successful life.
Wisdom and Power:
“I do not control the wind, I only study it.”
“Leave the problems of God to God and karma to karma. Today you’re here and nothing you can do will change that. Today you’re alive and here and honored, and blessed with good fortune.”
“Only by living at the
2. Find What Excites Them
The goal is to get them invested in the conversation.
You’re on an investigation to find out what makes them tick.
You'll know when they relax, open up, and get into the flow.
That’s your cue to dive deeper.
Stop trying to:
- Please everyone
- Be everywhere at once
- Mimic the path of others
Instead, just focus on being true to your mission.
The rest will take care of itself.
If you want to become a successful entrepreneur, practice the right psychology everywhere you go:
- In line at the coffee shop
- At the dinner table
- On your commute
Don’t wait for “the perfect place.”
Entrepreneurship is a lifestyle. Just do it.
Alex Hormozi famously said:
“The amount you can charge above the price of your commoditized product is the power of brand.”
If you sell T-shirts for $100 that would sell for $20 without your brand, the brand is worth $80 per unit.
That’s how powerful your brand could become.
This thought.
This ONE thought was transformative,
It highlights it’s immense value.
There are few things in this world that can never be lost, and a personal brand is one.
At some point, I recognized that personal branding was the road to success.
I can’t pint point it.
I don’t remember what I was doing.
I just remember it hitting me…no one can take away your personal brand.
5. Ask hypothetical questions
Throw in some 'What Ifs'
Give “what if” situations so people can draw on their imagination instead of feeling blocked by reality.
“Would you rather a or b…”
“If X happened, what would you do? “If your boss did Y, what would you say?”
Yes, building a personal brand takes effort, authenticity, consistency, and patience.
But when it truly reflects who you are, it doesn’t feel like work.
It becomes an extension of your identity and values.
The best stories ever penned about resilience:
- "The Alchemist" by Paulo Coelho
- "Unbroken" by Laura Hillenbrand
- "The Obstacle Is the Way" by Ryan Holiday
- "Man’s Search for Meaning" by Viktor Frankl
Essential reads for anyone on a tough journey.
Those with strong personal brands tended to succeed.
They were more than their job titles; they were their own brands.
That was my wake-up call—I needed to become a brand.
If I had to choose one content delivery format, it would be memes.
They’re instantly relatable, scroll-stopping, & have massive potential for virality.
This applies to any social media platform you can think of.
Hard to argue with the power of memes.
4. Loop Back
Circle back and give your take.
Instead of just nodding along, tell them what their story reminds you of or how it makes you feel.
It’s a solid move that shows you're really with them.
I noticed something walking through my workplace and online:
No matter the industry, from coding apps to leading campaigns, your personal brand is your unique signature.
Your roles matters, but how you position yourself within that role matters even more.
Building a personal brand will likely push you out of your comfort zone, requiring you to consistently share your wins and failures.
People will hate and love you.
Will it be challenging? Absolutely.
Will it be worth it? Without a doubt.
You remember this one right???

What would you add?
If you're an absolute savage who doesn't know when to stop (especially on a Sunday) here's a simple formula for avoiding burnout that took me 20 years to figure out:
Daily = 6-8 hours of sleep.
Weekly = one 24-hour period off.
Monthly = one 72-hour period off.
Waiting for the “right time” is a trap.
Start now, even if it’s messy.
You have to start DOING something in order to learn what needs to happen next.
Momentum beats perfection every time.
Take the first step.
As your personal brand grows, so will your opportunities and influence.
and something else will happen—your personal growth will accelerate.
You’ll became more articulate, confident, and driven.
Your brand will mold you as much as you’re molding it.
Are your friends holding you back?
Surround yourself with those who lift you higher.
You need people who challenge and inspire you.
True growth happens when you're around those who push you to be your best.
Your circle should fuel your fire, not dampen it.
