Yesterday, my daughter did an impression of me leaving for work. It involved running round and round in circles shouting 'I need to go to work, I need to get the train.' She then tripped and fell over, still not sure if that was part of it.
10/10 no notes.

Moments ago, my beautiful baby daughter was napping peacefully on my knee, when she opened her gorgeous blue eyes, and calmly threw up the whole of her last feed all over me and her lovely clean sleepsuit. She then closed her eyes and went straight back to sleep.

I can’t stop thinking about this book. It’s enthralling and powerful, it’s an entertaining crime thriller, it’s an environmental and animal rights polemic, and I miss the characters so much. I hope they’re all okay. All hail Olga Tokarczuk.
