My mother passed away this morning. She was my best friend and my biggest fan. She deserved a better ending. I'll miss her more than words can express.
WWE extends Smackdown by half an hour to fuck with
#AEW
so Tony Khan adds a pre-show for Rampage on YouTube during Smackdown. WWE makes that last half hour commercial free, so AEW makes the Rampage opener commercial free, too. Competition in action, folks, and we all benefit.
A double standard:

Jinder has literally lost every single match he's in for the past year, immediately gets title shot, where is the rage

TOMORROW on TBS
Toni Storm is gone from WWE. Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful broke the news and PWInsider just confirmed her release. Never forget that this woman debuted on TV, sat in catering for months, took two pies to the face and was left crying after her match on Friday. Fucking ridiculous.
Samoa Joe released by WWE. Triple H was smart enough to bring him back, but with him losing power, this was inevitable. That means they fired him TWICE in less than a year. Total clown show.
Randy Savage destroyed his knees doing this in WCW and he was six years YOUNGER than Copeland was here. Just insanely stupid and I hope he’s okay, but fucking hell.
The reports of Vince McMahon wanting to use Adam Cole as a manager for a heel Keith Lee is hardly surprising. He stood no chance on the main roster. His decision to leave was a no brainer. Cole has made tougher decisions about what to eat for fucking dinner.
The idea of Chris Jericho offering himself up as CM Punk's first feud upon his return to AEW, if it plays out that way, is a masterclass. A level of chess that even Hogan would have to admire. Get ready for nine months of Punk feuding with the JAS.
For the people who said, let it play out first. It played out. And it was just as embarrassing as I figured it would be. No matter how great a promo FTR may be, they just wanted an excuse to show CM Punk on their show. Hope they enjoy the bump from it.
#AEWDynamite
Ric Flair saying Bryan Danielson wasn't "made" until Triple H put him over at WrestleMania, as if he wasn't already the biggest babyface in the fucking company, is a comically bad take. If you want to single out one match, I'd point to his win over John Cena at Summerslam.
My cat died this morning and my heart is broken. We tried everything we could these last six weeks. 17 years of joy as part of this family, one that now shrinks ever smaller. Rest easy, Jynx.
Cody Rhodes had to leave WWE for this moment to happen tonight. A total success story. It was overbooked as all hell, but this is what pro wrestling is all about. And that Roman Reigns smile as he was being pinned was everything. GREATNESS.
#WrestleMania
If I told you there was a writers strike and showed you this, you would understand. But then you realize the strike doesn’t affect WWE, so there is no excuse for this. 😬
Bill Simmons interviewed Nick Khan and offered up this gem when asking about a possible Stephanie McMahon return to WWE.
BS: “Couldn’t she come back and do an angle where she and Test are having an affair?"
NK: “I think Test passed away a couple of years ago."
Whoopsie. 🤦🏻♂️
I don't want to read that WWE management thought the Blood & Guts match on Dynamite set the business back 30 years when they put fucking zombies on their show
#WMBacklash
#AEW
just announced Bryan Danielson vs. Minoru Suzuki for the Rampage Buy-In on YouTube Friday night, up against the second hour of Smackdown. Like, whoa.
Good grief. Per Meltzer, he was told that given the two networks, WWE believes they need a champion on both shows. So while
#WrestleMania
will be a unification match, there would still be two champions.
I don't think these people understand what the word unification means.
CM Punk says Seth Rollins needs to stop tweeting and that it’s better to let people think you’re a fool than open your mouth and remove all doubt. In other news, Rollins has now blocked Punk.

For all of my fears about what WWE would do to Walter once he left NXT UK, I must admit, naming him after a fucking NAZI is something I hadn't thought of. These people are imbeciles in every sense of the word.
Full Sail University has shut down due to the coronavirus outbreak, which includes all NXT tapings going forward. Much like this past Wednesday, all NXT events going forward will take place at the

PC.
Boy did that PC turn out to be a good investment for the company.
Goldberg is fucking terrible. He almost killed Lashley on that throw off the top. Nearly paralyzed The Undertaker. Keep him out of the ring.

The takeover is complete. Triple H has been named the new Head of Creative in WWE, taking over all creative duties from Vince McMahon. This is a GAMECHANGER and great news to get on a Monday morning.
VINCE MCMAHON HAS RETIRED FROM WWE, per the WWE Corporate site. A move that was long overdue, but honestly is no less shocking now that it's official. REAL CHANGE now becomes possible in WWE. Cannot overstate what a huge deal this is.
An INCREDIBLE closing angle to easily the best WWE storyline in two decades, with the added twist of Jey Uso walking out on his family. Fucking loved it.
#RoyalRumble
WTF is going on with Dave? He reports that Tommy Dreamer is the new head of TNA creative, which is quickly refuted by Dreamer himself and PWInsider. But he also talked about a segment that didn't air on TV after the WWE event in Vegas where Rock and Triple H "challenged each
Jon Moxley just put that fucking company ON HIS BACK with that promo, much as he did when Tony Khan needed him a few months ago. He's their MVP in 2022.
#AEWDynamite
THIS is why Roman Reigns should have lost at Wrestlemania. While the new title looks nice, and I like the nod to Big Gold, there was no need for this. Cody wins and then they could have just split the titles again. Instead, it's a consolation prize.
#WWERaw
Per the WSJ, Vince McMahon has told people he intends to make a WWE comeback and got bad advice from people to step down. The past few months have proven the company can survive, and even thrive, without him in power. His time has come and gone. He needs to STAY THE FUCK AWAY.
I always felt that Rock was more giving than most top stars when it came to putting people over and not being all about himself, which makes it incredibly frustrating to see how selfish this all is. It's hard to reconcile how damaging that one segment last night was, not only
I literally just left my car at the mechanic and took an Uber home. No fucking reason Jimmy Uso can’t do the same after boozing. Four times now. When is enough enough?
Per PWInsider, Cesaro is gone from WWE after the two sides failed to come to terms on a new contract. As such, his current deal has expired and he's free to go where he chooses. The man is uber-talented and will not have trouble finding work, that much I can tell you.
MJF just cut the promo of a lifetime. The best ones tend to be the ones that do blend reality and fiction and few can pull it off better than him today.
#AEWDynamite
Legit have no idea who Tom Segura is, or the woman next to him. But the fact we still have people shouting "you know it's not real, right?" in 2020 tells me all I need to know. 🤡
Heading into Grand Slam, as I said last night, I would have Samoa Joe beat MJF to win the AEW World title. He puts him out with the already bad neck, then Joe eventually drops the belt to Adam Cole, and when MJF returns, it makes things a LOT more interesting if he has to beat
After a storyline that's lasted more than two years, Hangman Page is CHAMPION. The next time someone tries to tell you

Press release confirms the ROH tape library is included in Tony Khan's purchase of the company. That, to me, is where the real value for AEW is in this acquisition, especially if they get an eventual streaming deal.
I was wrong when I said the last of the black and gold NXT died last night. It died this afternoon. Imagine thinking it wasn’t worth it to have WILLIAM REGAL around anymore with all of that young talent. 🤡
Not a fan of saving Cody for the

spot, but he's the right choice for Wrestlemania. Can we talk about Gunther though? Over 70 fucking minutes for the INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPION. Putting respect on that title. It's been too long.
#RoyalRumble
Jeff Hardy arrested again for DUI, this time while driving with a suspended or revoked license. And so ends the Hardys reunion in AEW. If not, then it should. There's simply no excuse to put other people's lives at risk time and again like this. Enough!
Vince McMahon is back on the WWE Board. They UNANIMOUSLY said they didn’t want him back and alluded to there being “non-public” information that could be harmful to the company, and he did it anyway. He doesn’t care. This is less about money and all about feeding his EGO.
Another bloodbath in WWE on account of “budget cuts”. Imagine not figuring out how to make money with Keith Lee. Imagine calling up Hit Row only to release B-Fab weeks later. Imagine if this company didn’t have shit for brains. Just imagine.
What an absolute SHIT way to beat Belair. At least make it semi-competitive for a few minutes. People expected an actual match. Becky return was a nice moment, but that was complete horseshit.
#SummerSlam
Listening to Moxley tell Jericho, "Every Monday, I get a physical sick feeling in my stomach, I can’t live like that" is sobering to hear. Especially when a lot of fans feel the same way. But to hear it from someone relatively high up on the inside, it speaks volumes.
It wouldn't be like old times if Vince McMahon didn't take one of the worst fucking Stunners of all time. But I don't care, that was fun.

Funny moment on Talking Smack when Sami Zayn brought up the

and wondering how that would work. Big E's response? "How long have you worked here, and you're trying to use logic?" 😂
I would love to think this event on Thursday is in Las Vegas and not Philly because they're going to announce WM41 for Vegas with Rock vs. Roman in the main event. Rock will tell Cody, "This is YOUR story to finish this year, not mine" and we're back on track.
Rock says he's a
