Nypd started the violence. The protest at Barclays was peaceful...people handing out ppe, water, snacks. The COPS started the havoc. They started to pepper spray the crowd who were behind the gates. Even after their supervisors told them not too. Don’t get it twisted.

For the record, the DSA openly celebrates the 10/7 slaughter of Jews by Hamas, and has spent the last year trying to turn this city upside down with riots, vandalism, street blockades, and campus unrest, culminating in a hostage situation at Columbia that had to be ended by an NYPD tactical team. They’ve been behind the vandalism of multiple Jewish businesses and the home of a Jewish professor, intimidation of Jewish students at Columbia and CUNY, and freely wave Hamas and Hezbollah flags at protests. There has not been a more toxic and violent political movement in NYC since the Weathermen bombings of the 1970s, and they have promised to escalate. So we’re now supposed to take them seriously when they get upset about a meme? Please, spare us the hysterics. Nobody is buying it.
