Legacy, the #EllenGreenberg case is such a travesty. As you said so well, everything points to homicide in this case. From the way Ellen's body was staged, to the "not destroyed" door lock, to two knives being used, to the post-mortem wounds, and well......so much more. It's preposterous, and I pray that the truth comes to light, and that those who insist this to be Ellen taking her own life, are held accountable.

🚨🚨 ** TRIGGER ALERT** Like you Jen, I have investigated and interviewed on multiple cases, where the mom chose the guy, over her own child. One particular case that still resonates with me (sorry....this is graphic and disturbing) happened when I was a Forensic Child Interviewer. Mom allowed her loser boyfriend to discipline her 6 year old son, regularly. The family was camping. The little boy was not being obedient, and boyfriend disciplined him by dragging him slowly behind his truck, through the mud. While mom sat in the back and WATCHED! The good news? The child was okay and he came to our Child Center where I interviewed him. He gave a great disclosure, and loser boyfriend went to jail. To my knowledge, no charges were ever filed against mom, but she lost her kids, with Child Welfare intervention. It makes me crazy when moms ignore the obvious, to keep the guy! #MadelineSoto

Hi Cherjo. I understand your concerns with the case. I'm a retired detective who actually investigated a very similar case, a number of years back. It's important to realize that circumstantial evidence, is still evidence. I have seen circumstantial evidence have a huge impact in cases, through the years. A smoking gun is always nice. But sometimes you just don't get that lucky. Consider circumstantial evidence in this way. You go to bed and sleep. In the morning, you wake to the ground saturated with water. While you did not actually observe the physicality of the rain, the circumstances before you, are telling you clearly that it rained while you slept. It's still evidence. It's my understanding that the two knives used in Ellen's stabbing, were never fingerprinted. If they have not been compromised, and IF they were stored properly, there may be a chance for prints or DNA. The new investigation must be done carefully, without bias and with an application common sense. I'm hoping for a good resolution. Have a great day! #JusticeForEllenGreenberg #SamGoldberg

Good article by CNN's Thomas Lake ,Jen. Sam's statement that Ellen fell on the knife, is a clear attempt to distance yourself, IMO. That's my opinion. But we need to let the evidence shake out. That said: #EllenGreenberg did NOT take her own life. #JusticeForEllenGreenberg #SamGoldberg
