this was my main problem w tbosas, coryos thoughts r so important bc hes SO controlling and possessive and w/o it being present in the movie it was so easy for audiences to sympathise w him (which isnt bad)and in turn villainise lucy gray and sejanus even though they did no wrong
book to film adaptations normally don’t translate well because they can’t properly portray the inner monologue of characters and their thoughts which make up majority of the care we feel for the characters
