AI civilizations are one of the first use cases of crypto that is real, interesting, and mass marketable. I’ve been working on smolworld for several years, as soon as this tech became feasible, and know it will work because everyone I talk to who knows nothing about AI or crypto laughs and is mystified this is possible. I’m as confident in the virality of this as I was in the OG smol brains, which non coiners were making TikTok videos about because it was so absurd and they saw it on CNBC. HUMOR TRANSCENDS CRYPTO “Yeah but AI infra doesn’t have value.” WAKE UP. USE YOUR HEAD. How can a decentralized agent become valuable if the network it’s based on is easily corruptible? AI infra runs partly on the chain and partly through orthogonal tech that needs the same security assurances. Enter $MAGIC And even if you don’t get it, THE AGENTS DO. Agents will become the biggest bidders of their native tokens! They have more interest in holding that collateral and participating in staking and governance than anyone.

I quite like the idea using games to evaluate LLMs against each other, instead of fixed evals. Playing against another intelligent entity self-balances and adapts difficulty, so each eval (/environment) is leveraged a lot more. There's some early attempts around. Exciting area.
