The biggest thing out of what Premier Moe said today:. There’s cautious optimism on the COVID-19 numbers. If it remains like this next week we will see the beginnings of a plan to return to normal. But it will be phased-in slowly and come with robust testing and contact tracing.

CBC is cutting 600 jobs, about 10% of its workforce (1/10 employees), Catherine Tait announced at a CBC town hall this afternoon. Job cuts set to happen in the next few weeks with most happening after the fiscal year. Union and non-union (management) jobs will be affected.

SK COVID update:. The Regina drive thru will begin administering Pfizer/Biontech vaccines starting Friday, April 9. 53 and 54 years old only, that may expand in the coming days depending on supply. First come, first serve, 8.30 am to 11pm daily at Evraz Place.

Good news in the COVID-19 update:. Just two new cases the provincial total now 300 . All those cases are now confirmed, no presumptive numbers. 118 cases are considered active. Fourteen more recoveries, that total is now 178. 8 people in hospital, no one in the ICU.
