Update re: my copyright claim. YT confirmed that 23 videos won’t be reinstated. I’m a little confused about the strikes mention, as that’s between YT and the YouTuber, but I guess this is… progress? I hope the next step is removing the rest of the reported content,

As my solicitors were filing the claim - before the deadline imposed by the DMCA -

It follows I must notify

that I’ve filed a claim, not send a copy of the full claim. By sending YT a copy of the court-stamped claim form plus an annexe listing the reported URLs on 17 March, I believe that I fully complied with Section 512(g)(2)(c) of the DMCA.

On 3 March, DissociaDID submitted counter-notifications for the first batch of removed videos, which gave me until 17 March - 10 business days, as set out in Section 512(g)(2)(c) of the DMCA - to provide

Trials in the Intellectual Property Enterprise Court have a £16,000 costs cap.
The costs cap for the entire case is £50,000.
DissociaDID is asking for £68,000 for the trial alone.

About an hour later, I replied to every counter-notification with a copy of the claim form and an annexe listing the infringing content’s URLs. No more videos were reinstated that day.

With that said, I have no issues with

being extra careful to ensure all the correct procedures are followed. But there’s a fundamental difference between being thorough and taking sides, which is what I believe YT is doing by hindering legitimate takedown requests.

Court update:
DD agreed to pay me £22k for the “harassment” case. £12k now and the remaining £10k once my appeal in the copyright infringement case is decided.
I got the £12k a few weeks ago from DD’s solicitors.
Now for the bad news...
