Welcome to my Twitter where I complain about the Dynamo Roller and theorize about the octarians and sometimes post art and write grammatically incorrect run on sentences, now with a reference sheet!

Splatoon 3 theory: The DLC will be about lil’ Judd and clones, a thread.
(This thread will contain major story mode spoilers and Tableturf rewards spoilers)
4.6 Spoilers
Oh so you’re not just telling me Arle spied on Furina for a while and got what she liked but she sat down and thought about who Furina is as a person and got her desserts based off of that??
I also kinda hate the “UwU I’m Agent 8, Agent 3 protecc me please UwU UwU” persona that the fandom has created because it undermines the accomplishments that Agent 8 has completed. It also is just very uncanon. 8 is full of repressed rage and it has a lot of potential to be funny
Fontaine is so funny because you get brought to the highest court in the lands and your judge is constantly serving face while the little gremlin you call your god is eating popcorn while watching
I’m tired of people pretending Furina is immature. She suffered for centuries to save her people and doesn’t expect a thank you, she doesn’t hold grudges against those who hated her, and she just generally did whatever it took for the greater cause, is that not mature?
Enter: Staff. Or Marigold. Whatever. Based off of this sunken scroll, and the fact that she seems to work at Recon, Crab-and-go, Tableturf, and as a Grizzco receptionist all at the same time, it’s not too hard of a reach to say she’s a clone.
Let’s start off with our most favorite clone, Lil’ Judd. He’s looking a little different as of late, his fur looks closer to that of octarians affected by fuzzy ooze, and after you’ve beaten the story mode, he gains an earpiece.
Speaking of the jellies, the last enemy you can unlock in Tableturf, yes, after you unlock all the characters we know and love such as various idols and shopkeepers, our final opponent is… Clone Jelly.
In Tableturf, his deck is comprised of Salmonid themed cards. It’s not too hard to conclude that he runs Grizzco now, but what does he want with those golden and power eggs? Well, probably to kill Judd, or possibly do something greater for clone-kind
I love how she says “We don’t want to make the children cry” because instead of not wanting them to be scared she just straight up thinks crying is weak and doesn’t wanna hear it

This recurring theme of clones is too suspicious to not have a plot line related to it, I’m just saying. It would also contrast with Splatoon’s consistant vibes of individuality, giving more depth to the world.
@nyaamari
One time I (the only black kid in the class) had to read a piece of text with the word snigger in it and everyone looked at me when I said it and it was lowkey traumatic
Cloning isn’t new to Splatoon, it’s already been known that Octarians posses the technology to clone severed tentacles (Great Octoweapons). We also know that jellyfish asexually reproduce by lobbing off a piece of themselves, sound kinda like cloning.
Oh and when she plunged her hand into the water too… she fully was expecting to die in front of everyone, and even when Neuvillette was saying she didn’t have to and even when she could’ve responded w “this is an assassination attempt! Why would the archon be able to touch it?!”
Also: personal note, I think we might get respawn pad lore. It’s obvious that our physical form completely dissipates when we get splatted, and that form fully regenerates from ink in the respawn pad, so doesn’t that make us clones? If I’m right, I hope to see-
I know she’s not an eel, it’s just that she seems to have some similarities to her favorite little dudes and also I will find evidence for characters to be trans because I can

The lighter skin doesn’t compliment her color palette. It’s overall too bright and the gold doesn’t accent her properly, it sort of blends in. The warmer skin tone in the darker skin edit gives good contrast to her cooler color palette
How they enterpret the definition of clone, kinda like the Ship Of Theseus. Our respawned versions of ourselves act the same as we do, does that make them any more or less clone? Where is the line between clone and same being?
