A little about me and mine: I am a professional vocalist and beyond-avid sports fan. Majored in broadcast journalism my Freshman year, wanted to be a sports journalist like @HannahStormESPN since 6th grade which was in the 80s. Missed music too much so switched to a BA in Music/Business Management minor w/one grad class in Executive Management. Went back for one more year to get my BM in Vocal Performance. Decided school wasn't for me anymore, so I have 2 bachelor's degrees. Life doesn't always work out like you plan. My husband is a Navy Vet, played football at @pittstate in the late 80s and is a project manager and a dog trainer. We have five kids and four grandchildren between us. He loves dogs, dogs know he's boss and he's living his dream. We love sports so much that we hope to do a podcast together someday. Our kids and grandkids are our life right now and by next fall, among others, we'll have two in college, three by the Midterms. We're madly in love, keenly aware of what's happening in the world and quite opinionated. I'm the verbal one, he's strong, steady, cool, calm, and collected. So I won't always post about politics but I have been passionate about it since President Reagan, when I wrote him a letter telling him how happy I was that he was my President. He wrote back w/the stamped signature (I was 8, thought it was real). Framed and hung it on the wall. It's somewhere in a box now. Started listening to Rush Limbaugh in my teen years (@DavidLimbaugh), so my political eyes have been open for a long time. My brother, @cybrpete, was a conservative columnist for @avpressnews and and our family always discusses politics every time we're together. It was a way of life growing up. I'm the youngest so I had to know my stuff and be able to articulate it. I hope to get to know some of you like this. Repost and share your story or just leave a comment.
