Raiders fans talking smack to Broncos fans is still super cute. Regardless of the way the last 5 years have gone, the last time the Raiders won a playoff game was *checks notes*…January 19th, 2003. I was 14 years old. I am now 33. It’s adorable

Broncos’ DB Kareem Jackson has been suspended without pay for four games for repeated violations of playing rules intended to protect the health and safety of players, including during Sunday’s game against the Minnesota Vikings.
Peyton Manning never played a road playoff game in Denver. He played 2 Super Bowls on neutral sites, but never played a roadie.
Just crazy crazy success for 4 years.
So:

The Broncos hired Aaron Rodgers OC to get him to Denver and he is going to hire an assistant coach on the Rams to be DC to lure Von Miller home…
Genius!
#BroncosCountry
Russell Wilson accounted for 31% of his total TD’s for the entire season AFTER Nathaniel Hackett was fired. That’s 31% in TWO games. But yeah, Hackett wasn’t a problem. 🙄
The Russell Wilson hate in a certain part of
#BroncosCountry
is insane! Absolutely incredible! First, he hasn’t been nearly as bad as you all say. Second, give it a minute!
“Went to bed with Matthew Stafford and woke up with Aaron Rodgers”.
-Von Miller, probably, when he re-signs with the Broncos as a free agent in March

When the Nuggets hoist this trophy, it’ll be for all the memorable players in my Nuggets history. No way I can hit ‘em all, but to name a few:
-Andre Miller
-Voshon Lenard
-Earl Boykins
-Marcus Camby
-Nene
-KMart
-JR Smith
-Francisco Elson
-Carmelo Anthony
-DerMarr Johnson
My

timeline is in shambles. “Fire Hackett”, “Bench Russ”, “The Season is Over” are the constant themes. Y’all sound pathetic! 4 games in and 2-2, and at worst, one game out of first place in the best division in football. C-H-I-L-L
If Vic Fangio were only the defensive coordinator he’d be doing a pretty good job. However, he’s in charge of all 3 phases. He picked the bad OC. He’s stuck with the horrid ST coordinator. He chose the limited veteran QB and still failed to make the playoffs. He’s not it as a HC!
Seriously, IDGAF about draft position. I want to SMOKE the Chiefs. I am sick and tired of losing. If the Chiefs had nothing to play for it wouldn’t mean anything, but they are playing for a bye and home field. Let’s get a win!

We good,

Has Drew Lock lit it up? No, of course not. But he’s been fine, and made some throws that Teddy just won’t try. The story might be different if he just started from the beginning…
I think John Elway did a ton of good things in his GM days, but his selections of coaches and QB’s post-Manning were absolutely abysmal in contrast to what could have been. Lynch over Dak. VJ over Shanny, Keenum/Chubb over Allen, Fangio over LaFleuer…
ABSYMAL

Drew Lock plays a clean game, scores 13 points (still real bad) and gets a whopping 18 yards from the ground game.
Vic Fangio: “You get 158 yards of offense, and eight first downs, it’s hard to say anything good about the offense.”
See the difference here?
3 weeks ago the Teddy-lead Broncos scored 9 points while playing for first place. Teddy had 2 INT’s while receiving 154 yards assistance from the ground game.
Here was Fangio’s quote: “I thought Teddy did a lot of good things, we as a team did not do enough.”
#BroncosCountry
When the Broncos coaches chose Teddy over Drew they chose to ‘win-now’ and not ‘see if you’ve got a franchise guy in Drew’. If Drew turned out to be the franchise guy you’d also be winning. Turns out we still don’t know and are losing anyways. What a shame…

Honestly, I don’t think
#BroncosCountry
really understands what’s happened the past 4 years.
There’s essentially 2 timelines. 2016-2018, and 2019-2020:
It is truly fascinating to me how desperate
#BroncosCountry
is to move off of Drew Lock after 18 starts. The anyone-but-Lock mindset really is something else.
#BroncosCountry
with the recency bias tonight forgetting Lock was 5/7 for 151 and 2 TD’s in his time with the ones. Teddy needed three 4th down conversions, some they probably wouldn’t have gone for in a real game. Teddy made some nice throws but Drew should be the guy…
Going from Aaron Rodgers or Russell Wilson to Kaleb Eleby and Mitch Trubisky might be the most depressing swing I could possibly imagine. Just play Drew and take the L…
#BroncosCountry
Imagine thinking that 2 firsts, 2 seconds, and Jerry Jeudy is too much to give up for Aaron Rodgers and then getting mad at the idea of signing Adams because it costs too much of someone else’s money. Jerry Jeudy has 3 career TD’s. Adams has 5 TD’s in his last 3 games.
The Broncos have Russell Wilson. They should be trying to put the best players around him to maximize success, not trading stars for draft picks that might be stars some day…

Dan Campbell has overhauled a losing culture in Detroit and turned the Lions into a legitimate Super Bowl contender.
In year 1, he went 3-13-1
In year 2, he started 1-6 and finished 9-8
In year 3, currently 4-1…
Guess who he worked for prior to joining the Lions?
Did Melvin Gordon single-handedly cost the Broncos the game? No
Do the Broncos win if he doesn’t fumble that ball? 99.9% chance they do
#BroncosCountry
Still hopeful Kyle Shannahan somehow gets fired and the Broncos land Aaron Rodgers and Shanny. Same system Rodgers has been in for 3 years, Shanny an even better play caller. I can’t imagine how fun that’d be…
I'm ashamed to admit that for the past 3 months I've been having an affair.
I haven't been cheating on my wife, but instead on my QB, Drew Lock with Rodgers.
I'd like to add that I've cut that off and am completely recommitted to my relationship with Drew.
#BroncosCountry
When Russ bailed backwards out of one of the cleanest pockets you’ll ever see with an open receiver on an intermediate shot into a sack for about the 30th time in the past 2 seasons, I was ready to move on. It’s infuriating…
Aaron Gordon was willing to do what Jerami Grant wasn’t:
Accept a lesser role for a greater good. In the 3 years since leaving the Nuggets, his teams have won 20, 23, and 33 games.
At least he’s averaged 22, 19, and 20 ppg though.
Aaron Gordon is the perfect fit to win!
I was wrong about Aaron Rodgers. I was wrong about Russell Wilson. Thought Aaron was a viable option. Never believed Russ was. I was wrong. I love you
#BroncosCountry
and can’t wait to CELEBRATE this success together. LFG!!!!
It is interesting how many Broncos fans don’t want Aaron Rodgers as the QB when the current QB’s are Drew Lock and Teddy Bridgewater.
Aaron FREAKING Rodgers….
#BroncosCountry
How is it that Flacco looked like such a statue, washed up loser when he played for Denver and now, 4 years later he looks legitimately like one of the best QB’s in the NFL? Make it make sense…

When you draft a QB it’s like buying a home. Did the Broncos get their dream home, $2mil finished product in Lock? No, they bought a decent house that needed a little bit of work to be spectacular. Instead of investing in that work, they screwed around ran it into the ground.
When Drew Lock was throwing 4 INT’s last year I didn’t hear much caveating of ‘yeah he was bad but nobody can succeed with these coaches’ the way I’ve seen on the TL today. It’s very interesting…
#BroncosCountry
Let’s say the Broncos don’t land Rodgers or Wilson, here is what should NOT happen. The Broncos should NOT draft a 1st round QB AND keep Drew Lock. If they draft a first round QB, COMMIT to that QB’s development. Play call to his strengths while coaching his weaknesses. Commit!
If Aaron Rodgers comes to the Broncos I would try and do a 3-year deal for Drew Lock for $3-4m/year. See what he can learn under Aaron, keep him cheap, see what happens.
And if the Broncos land Aaron Rodgers, It's not a foregone conclusion that Drew Lock is moved.
I could easily see him staying on as the backup.
Being put back in an offense that suits him better & learning the ropes from his idol would be great 🏈 rehab for Drew Lock.💯
Y’all can feel free to mute me for a few days but it’s still fresh so let’s talk about the development of Drew Lock by Vic Fangio (a thread):
2019: he gets hurt and goes on IR. He’s fully healthy but instead the Broncos in a lost year decide to start Brandon Allen for 3 weeks
