Incentives have become so…. misaligned? And to make matters (feel) worse, lots of early BTC bullievers seem jaded or faded from the insanity that’s ensued since the first ICO era. “Came for price, stayed for tech” was a mantra once. But reality is - we’re hardwired for incentive, and that’s typically attached to monetary value. Its how we kinda perceive freedom (i think). Wild tho. Once most of us hit a high score, I wonder if we lose the motivation to keep achieving and kinda just wade into an aging politician state. It’s weird, but I think it’s real, someone, somewhere, is immune to the perils of “number go up!”, but still wields incredible curiosity. Probably lots of people, eventually. I have hope. And we still have great leaders. Just… temper expectations maybe? And like, I totally need to do the same.

Not merely a dilution of liquidity, there’s a painful dilution of attention. The lack of promise/follow through (lol, i mean their memes) has ultimately just eroded faith, trust and to a degree, respect for the space imo. Its still real and I adore what’s meaningful. But yea, we’re a FRAGMENTED industry (like, Web3 gaming feels like its entirely own sphere of consumer products and random TGEs) and the trader attention span dilution enabled by yada yada really feels strange and painful. Honestly, kinda sobering. I have my passion projects to support, but for real, just stack Sats. Everything is… jelly at this point.
