This actually symbolizes how Alastor doesn't think of himself as a part of their family because he doesn't think that they think of him as a part of their family
I can't get over this image
He's letting Charlie wrap her arms around him
Obviously Charlie and Niffty would be happy he's back but even Angel, Vaggie, and Cherri (who barely knows him!) are glad he's okay
THEY CARE ABOUT HIM
Manifesting an episode where Charlie convinces Alastor to open up about his life when he was alive after everyone else did it and he intentionally paints it in a positive light, until the end of the episode where we see what REALLY happened in a flashback
I love radiostatic but I really hope they show vox being downright awful to alastor because he's a fucking sadistic possessive degenerate stalker and people don't realize how bad he actually is
I've said this before but he GETS. OFF. ON. ALASTOR. HURTING.
My biggest fear for when the show shows Alastor's abuse is people not taking it seriously/joking about it
There's already been so many posts where the general idea is "I love seeing him get bossed/tossed around", etc
"Getting humbled" is NOT getting abused
‘Hazbin Hotel’ creator Vivienne Medrano’s favorite episode from Season 2 is Episode 5.
“So, personally, I'm a little biased. I really like Episode 5. It's very grand, it's very cool, and just involves a lot of characters I really personally like.”
"Do you like blood, violence, and depravity of a sexual nature? Of course you do, that's why you're in Hell! But what would you say if I told you there was a place to stay that had NONE of that?"
He straight up just told them they wouldn't like it at the hotel😭
I'm not even excited for Alastor's backstory anymore because how are you gonna focus on it while also showing the rest of the hotel, Baxter, coping with Pent's death, Pent in heaven with Emily and Sera, and Vox as the main villain in EIGHT EPISODES
@tankerstil6722
He's presenting a drawing of their found family (I assume he drew it) to Charlie telling her "the family you choose is better"
But he isn't included. He's in the middle, yeah, be he isn't IN it. He's separated
People disagreeing with this is what happens when a character is never shown in a sympathetic light
"Redeemable" characters are apparently everyone in the main cast EXCEPT Alastor
???
Why?? ALL of them besides Charlie are mass murderers. Angel, Husk, Pentious, VAGGIE
Amir Talai, the voice of Alastor in ‘Hazbin Hotel’ on if the character could be redeemed:
“I think that anyone is redeemable. [...] But they have to be willing to put in the work, if he's going to redeem himself, he has to work very hard. But he has to want it first.”
"Alastor doesn't like children because he thinks they're annoying"
Me, an intellectual: "Alastor doesn't like seeing children because happy kids remind him of a childhood he couldn't truly have because of his father"
Alastor is the type to egg someone on until they get so mad they hit him so he has a "reason" to fight them back
Like being an absolute asshole until they "invite" him to a fight and he gets so giddy when they do cuz he knows he'll win/have fun
Alastor effectively isolating himself from the people around him as a mechanism to feel safe even though it makes him more vulnerable to the control/manipulation/abuse he receives send tweet

I've thought about the possibility of Alastor self harming or "punishing" himself when he gets too overwhelmed/stressed. We've seen him pull out his hair so I wouldn't put it past him to do more extreme acts of violence towards himself.☹️
Assuming Alastor's mother is creole (which would already make her mixed) and his father is white people who are expecting Alastor to look mostly black are in for a disappointment and it's gonna be so annoying to see people call him whitewashed or bad rep if he's not "dark enough"
I remember one time Viv said Alastor considers Husk as one of his few friends but it was unknown if Husk felt the same
It's kinda sad when you think about it😭
I love when people are writing or drawing radioapple and Lucifer takes off his ring because it symbolizes him moving on from Lilith and being content/happy with Alastor😭
What if whoever owns Alastor's soul forced him to ruin his relationship with Vox, so he had to "betray" him when he didn't want to and Vox thinks he was being genuine and he was just using him the whole time and now Vox hates Alastor but Alastor just has to keep up the facade
I'm breaking my silence I sincerely hope (and believe) that Vox is worse than Alastor and that they show this next season for a certain group of people
