If you find the price of an artist too high but still would love to collect a piece, reach out to them and negotiate. Commissions have always played a big role in art and it honestly feels backwards to not make an effort to build a personal connection with an artist you admire.

What has been obvious to me during exhibition hoping in NYC is how much this space needs curators and people with in depth understanding of art presentations. Putting screens next to each other is not curation and it does not elevate artists in the way it should.
