Media Thread 2025: I figured I’d make a new thread condensing every media I consume this year. It’ll usually be for the ones where I don’t think I’d make a separate thread for it. Feel free to check it out from time to time as I’ll be updating it periodically.

@niamokcajdab The game assumes the guy is still alive because the flag requires it to be there in general, regardless of its current state, so it forces the legs to “reanimate” for the sake of preserving the scene. It is dead, however, so there’s nothing you can do.

Watching my cousin play through Mario Sunshine for the first time in many years feels like seeing someone play it for the first time ever. It’s great, and he’s enjoying it.

So it turns out my family’s WiFi isn’t exactly what I would call “great”. It’s good for them since they only ever watch movies online and such, but I need something better for gaming purposes. So after some research, I might give Starlink a try. I have no other options.

I was talking to my best friend about L4D2 mods, and I eventually realized that there’s apparently an issue with certain models crashing the game because a line of code wasn’t implemented properly. I was able to solve the issue with him, and thats one step closer to my goal.

@The_MrsGriffin Ooh, I love RE5 co-op. I used to play it with my sister all the time when we were growing up. Those were good times.

@CrypticIrisMK It’s alright. The algorithm isn’t my favorite, to say the least. You don’t have to come up with anything particularly big to talk to me. You could just start with hello or just ask me directly about… well, anything really.

Okay, so after some more messing around with the controls, I am able to make this work properly. I do have to use a PlayStation controller, which feels weird, but I’ll get used to it. I’m looking forward to seeing what this mod has to offer me.
