Establish care is an important part because what basis do I have not to assume the worst? A lot of people want the benefit of the doubt without any ground work.
Knowing someone's heart &moving from a place of grace and love really eases conflict in rels, platonic or romantic. Someone establishing care so that when they err & apologise (everyone will slip up at a point) u know their intentions were not to hurt u clarifies the redressing.

Dutch people in a nutshell then they hide behind "culture and straightforwardness".
Teaching my first class this term, I dealt with a Dutch white woman student whose disrespect I was forced to tolerate for months. This person would roll her eyes at me in every class, gossip about me in Dutch, make comments about my face and hair, and question my qualifications.

This is exactly why I say people don't hate cishet men enough for me. So much of their behaviour is normalized. Sooo much, people I thought I knew telling me not to compromise my access to men 🙄like that's a valid concern.
LMAO you see that thing people say about how your politics start to waver if for some reason you start spending more time fraternitizing with cishet men. It's so true.

I think there's a space where compassion is had for the women because of a myriad of things that led to them being like this but the way my empathy is so low for these women? Like practically non existent.
When women say that being friends with a man-obsessed woman is dangerous because they will quite literally kill you or put you in harm’s way, this is it. So desperate for companionship that they will settle with ANYTHING.

My tweet is not even up to 30 minutes, here the proof lies. We have a deep inferiority complex and antiblackness in our society.
@mstrishlorenz Did anyone stop you lot from writing a book and naming it “soro soke”? Cos I don't understand the backlash. Also, I would rather people talk about or criticize the content of the book and not this.

I always think the solution is reading more feminist texts but maybe that's not it tbh. Always so disappointing to encounter women that spout choice feminism. I, too, wish your choice could be made in a silo.
The post-Sex Wars “choice feminist” framework—in which all women’s “choices” must be judged the same, regardless of their motivations or outcomes, and in which the presence of women’s “agency” negates the moral wrongness of their oppression—completely hollowed out feminism.

The way Nora fell into Arthur and Arthur held her, no reservations, no hesitation, it's so much love and understanding there. Made me tear up. #PastLives.

People don't think too often about deeply violent misogynistic phrases like this. That just ran a chill through me, from this to killing us, it's a straight and very short line.
Niggas be 6 feet deep in the friendzone doing shit like this but never feed they momma. Never call they granny. Just obsessed with someone else nutrag.

One of the most anti black societies tbh.
when you factor in how colourist young black British men are??? when you hear how that talk about dark skinned (fat???) women? It’s so dehumanising it’s actually insane. I have never felt uglier in my life than I did studying in the UK for my undergrad. Insane scenes.

If these girls don't start talking to each other and leaning on each other, I'm going to lose it.
Watch the official trailer for Beyond The Veil Season 2 . As these women life’s challenges, they must make tough choices, stepping bravely into the unknown despite the cost of loss. Beyond The Veil offers a poignant narrative beyond the surface of womanhood. 🎥 @btv_series

Skating so far past the point is an interesting choice here, you could also listen to women. This narrative you've told yourselves about it being so different is a huge lie. A lot of men in romantic relationships with women default to using the women for emotional support.
men unable to feel their feelings live confused lives, inflicting others, *especially women*, with the burden of feeling things *for* them or compensating for their total lack of self-awareness. we need dedicated spaces for men to build emotional intelligence. where are they?.

This is the absolute worst. If I didn't rate you, I wouldn't be communicating or talking. It is super exhausting.
it is draining to engage with people who think I’m arguing or personally attacking them every time I try to solve an issue or express my emotions. it creates mental exhaustion. if someone can’t tolerate you asking clarifying questions and sharing how you feel, keep your distance.

I might actually stop watching this show because Mira is emotionally abusive and the show is so dialogue heavy I have to listen to her bullshit #ScenesFromAMarriage.

I don't know what people are not getting about a viral infection that has no known cure and unknown long term effects.
okay now i’m looking for a new therapist because this woman literally said her biggest therapeutic goal for me is to get me to take off my mask. she asked what that would take and i said it would take covid not being a risk anymore. i am barely surviving i cannot risk long covid!.
