@yeldeadcel I mean at least John got to see his son, David. I feel like Ocelot like many people have a rather corrupted view of what the Boss' will is which adds onto the messed up cycle of endless suffering. I guess in a sense he redeemed himself but Ocelot never did

@yeldeadcel oh yeah definitely, its really sad when you think about it because in the end both him and big boss werent exactly surrounded by many people when they died but they had snake [which i feel is somewhat poetic in its own right] but it shows how lonely they are i feel??

I also fw my own headcanon the BATB aren't killed but rather discharged. With Liquid Ocelot's Outer Haven now no longer a threat, I like to think they've been admitted to therapy because they didn't exactly die like most enemy bosses!

I feel like Ocelot is a seriously misunderstood character as a whole and I'll stick by this. This is also evident in TPP where you try to knock him out/stun him, he says things related to the Philosophers as well and the whole "Lalilulelo" thing while holding his head
