@Recon_One7 @wanyeburkett A lot of really smart people are good communicators though, they know how to present complex concepts simply. They understand what the target audience is capable of.

@JPBillingsgate @wanyeburkett Really the main advantage of brains is you think faster than your peers so you can get by with less effort 😄

Even 99.9 people, 1 in a thousand are smarter. In 10 million people that's 10,000 smarter people, who tend to cluster. I (more like 99.5 not 99.9) could be the smartest Law student in my Oxford college, or academics in my Law department in my third tier Uni, but well aware plenty of much smarter men at Oxford, especially in the hard sciences.

@walle_ras @Cyclical_invest @ItIsHoeMath @Mankosmash My area in SW London is 80% white 20% BAME. It's not typical ofc. London is officially 40% BAME in 2020; higher now.

@dufur_bend @Cyclical_invest @ItIsHoeMath @Mankosmash I'm sensing a degree of anti-London bias in the comments here 😁 The place has the lowest obesity rates in the UK, and the bits I live & work in have lots of attractive females.

@walle_ras @Cyclical_invest @ItIsHoeMath @Mankosmash Not sure which bits of London you're thinking of.

@ItIsHoeMath In most pics from the era she's a 3.5 at best. If she was a 7 I suspect the whole thing would have gone very differently. Male gamers I suspect would be a lot more accepting of a 7 trading sex for favours. A 3.5 had the Reek of Wrongness.

I think International Law, like the concept of Human Rights, makes a kind of implicit appeal to a kind of unseen Sovereign that takes the place of God in traditional Natural Law theory. Sometimes Liberals talk about eg The International Community as a kind of avatar for this unseen Sovereign, but it usually goes unnamed and implicit.

"no one thinks" clearly is hyprerbole since it is one of the definitions we still discuss at University (I'm a Law lecturer in England). Obviously we don't teach it as uncontested, we discuss it along with other definitions. My view would be that the central case of Law matches with many different common definitions, while peripheral cases of Law match with few.

@TRHLofficial For a normal woman I'd recommend subtle makeup that enhances your natural looks. The kind most men won't notice.

@TRHLofficial The one on the left obviously looks better. But what men want is typically the no makeup look, not literally no makeup. And personally I very much like how my gf looks with her makeup, it's subtle but you can tell she's wearing makeup if you look.

It lacks most of the characteristics used to define Law. Eg it is clearly not Austin's "Command of the Sovereign". Since there is no body accepted as Sovereign that issues International Law. Caveat: to the extent that the leaders of a nation such as the UK treat the UN as Sovereign over the UK International Law begins to more closely resemble Law. Still there is little or no external force of compliance.
