Bible study this morning says I do not need to know myself bc it’s not in Scripture to. We are to give what we have. I believe it is essential to know yourself. Am I the apostate here?

Oakhaven after dark: Tonight was a working fire: all the hand processed brush is now a few inches of coals. We roasted brats and small trees. Merriment was had by all.

Fermentation fail #2. 😑 Pretty sure the bacteria and yeast don’t like my filtered water. Gonna try with spring water.

Okay, take 2 of fermentation! Sweetened local tea and some of the ginger bug (my pet yeast/bacteria). Let’s see what happens! (Hopefully bubbles and not explosions)

@Metal_Lutheran Not soda like a coke. A sugared solution of fruit juice or sweetened tea. It will make a bubbly drink like kombucha - a soda (fizzy drink) if you will. 0.5% alcohol, part of the way the Lord made yeast and bacteria work: their poop is the fizzy part and alcohol.
