Simcluster Update - Raised Money, Moved to Kansas Good morning from snowy Wichita, KS - our new home while we work on Simcluster Kansas, our next update. Why Kansas? As I write this, it's a brisk 27°F outside - internationally recognized as the perfect temperature for locking the fuck in. It's been a busy winter for @simcluster. Recently, we raised financing from @seedclubhq, with additional participation from @cyantist, @dwr, @insideNiMA, @socialgraphvc, @atroyn, @GemBooMBooM and @Andercot. They join existing investors @speedrun, @RalfReichert, @cory, Rahul Iyer of @spectral_hq and Gerald Rouselle. Thank you all for taking this bet. This additional funding gives our small team the runway to swing for the fences as we build the best video game of all time. Simcluster Kansas is our most ambitious update yet, with 3 main focuses: - Iterating on core gameplay systems to support even more player expressivity. - Inventing new tools and mechanics for generating and sharing Simcluster content. - Improving site performance and aesthetics, targeting 60fps on a wide range of devices and browsers.
