We are back open to queries! It’s been a lovely break, but I’m ready to jump back into the inbox. As a reminder, my agency closes for two weeks at the end of summer and over the Christmas holidays. Aside from that, I intend to remain open to queries for the rest of the year.

With politics the way they are, and critical funding getting cut for minority and bipoc groups, I am always glad to see editors and agents making a space for diverse voices. Publishing admittedly has a LONG way to go, but this is how we change that, and I'm grateful.

sigh I guess I gotta come out and say it… publishing made me trans guys😔I just couldn’t resist the urge when writing a trans masc mc get eaten out on his period by an evil vampire. if I wanna be published, I’ve been told I have to get top surgery :(

I rep marginalized voices because their voices have been minimal in publishing. I am open to marginalized voices because my students do not see themselves in books. I am open to queer voices because that is freely and proudly who I am. I do NOT pass on queries because of race

a lot of querying is luck and timing, there are no guarantees. one thing i CAN guarantee, however, is that you are not being rejected bc you are white and straight and so are your characters. i hope this helps! 🥲💕

I DID IT!!! 🎉🔥 The last 7 weeks I’ve honestly put in 12-16 hour days EVERY DAY to get my first pass edits done for my new publisher… Still YET to be announced but coming… Can’t wait to share!!! 📚

I get the point but I, as a beta reader, sometimes take a bit to get through a book, and I assure you: most of the time IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE BOOK, and everything to do with my poor time management skills and my need to read several books at once.

An Indian literary agency standing proudly amongst its western peers comes under uncalled for attacks due to their nationality, leading to pointless scrutiny of its well-established founders. Tell me if this isn't inherent racism that one naturally presumes them to be a scam?
