Thank you South Melbourne πππ
South Melbourne FC announces the departure of our JBNPL Technical Director, Sinisa Cohadzic. Since joining the club in late 2020, Sinisa has been the driving force behind a significant transformation of our JBNPL program. His leadership and vision created a legitimate pathway for youth players to progress through the ranks, providing a clear route to senior football. Throughout his tenure, weβve seen teams across all age groups excel, with many advancing to higher divisions. This success includes trophies with our Under 23 squad, where he also served as coach, and the development of over a dozen youth players who have transitioned to senior football. Football Director Peter Kokotis reflected on Sinisa's impact: "Sinisa has been instrumental in reshaping our junior program. His dedication to nurturing talent has not only brought success on the pitch but has also built a foundation for the future of our club. We have loved working with him and wish him the very best in his future endeavours. His influence will be felt for years to come." Sinisaβs commitment to player development and his ability to nurture talent have left a lasting impact on the club, ensuring our program continues to offer strong opportunities for young players. We thank him for his dedication, support during the transition, and the ongoing friendship he brings to South Melbourne.

Well done to everyone involved. Exceptional year
What a year it was for @smfc π΅βͺοΈ One of the biggest member federation clubs across the country, @nplvictoria giants South Melbourne delivered another year of trophies and an impressive @AustraliaCup run ππ South Melbourne secured the NPL Victoria Men's premiership as well as the Dockerty Cup. They finished runners-up in the NPL Victoria Men's grand final and were close to winning a treble potentially even a quadruple. Take a bow South Melbourne π #FPFootball #NPLVIC #NPLMVIC #MagicOfTheCup πΈ: @Brocksmooth24

@ArthurKiousis @kongianna You are wrong Arthur, the rule in Super League of Serbia (top division) is that every single minute of the game there needs to be two players U21 years of age on the field. Clubs playing in Youth UEFA CL can only have players that are homegrown minimum two years at the club

Must admit I wasn't his admirer for a long time but I went up and close at the WC in Qatar. Seen them playing with good organisation and in sync with principles that coaching staff believed in. With bit of luck against Argentina anything could have happened. Well done.
Graham Arnold, the longest-serving coach in Subway #Socceroos history, will depart immediately from the role of head coach. Thank you for everything, Arnie. #ThankYouArnie

@ArthurKiousis @kongianna There is quota system in leagues in Europe. One of them is Serbia for a fact I know. Now damage will be done at clubs that don't have good junior development programs and good retention numbers. But at the same time hard to keep players when Academies come for them. Many problems

@P_Kotsy Yes transfer system needs to be better and clubs need to be rewarded for the development of player when Academy comes and takes them. That is definitely a grey area that needs to be solved. Many problems in the system Kotsy. We can go about it for hours.

@P_Kotsy I will not disagree on what you said above but I am a believer in young players because I have been in that space for a long time and know the level of players comparing to some senior atm and anything that will help them in their journey to be developed I will want to support.

@kongianna @ArthurKiousis Guys as i replied to Kotsy, In my opinion there is many young kids out there that are talented enough to be given a chance and coaches do not do it because of the results pressure. This will push them to scout better and realise potential instead of recycling players.
