Mike Leach visited our Neshoba County Fair cabin prior to an event in 2021 with Lane Kiffin and Will Hall. Mike and Lane traded good natured shots, but there was obviously a friendship between them. Leach loved the Fair and didn’t want to leave after finding the Minshew cabin.

MSU regrets to confirm that a 91-year-old male fan went into cardiac arrest in the Junction near Gate A. He was transported to OCH, but was pronounced dead at the hospital. We have no other information at this time. The gentleman’s son was with him. Our prayers are with them.

Bulldog Family mourns the great Stan Black, who was killed in a tragic roadside accident today when he made a Good Samaritan stop to help someone. Stan Black played at MSU from 1973-76 as a safety. He was named All-SEC twice, and an All-American in 1976. Stan was a wonderful man.
