I understand the sentiment of posts like this, but I think this argument misses the crux of the issue - the main flaw in this critique isn't its inaccuracy, but its illogical nature. Taylor DOES primarily write songs about romantic relationships, and that's completely fine!

I feel like this song is very clearly an amalgamation of her past relationships and the chorus depicts the repeated cycle of her "bolting" which makes me think it's not like a specific dude.
