Two years between these two sets of photos. Absolutely delighted with the progress. Halved the OM %, raised the soil PH, improved percolation rates and moisture levels drastically. Limited nitrogen, irrigation, fungicides, spiking and absolutely no coring. Should be a good season

Busy week. Greens have come back to us after a couple of weeks with disease. @benmorgan1985 has been in to test some metrics. The 8th hole is open for good and we’ve finally been able to identify the noisy bird on the hole, Woodpecker #2

@dawid_malkowski @ShipleyGolf Completely depends on what’s required. If quick recovery is needed then TX10 but if growth ratio is already high I go with Humus

The remodelled 8th hole will be open for captains day tomorrow. It’s still a little early to keep it open permanently but it’ll give us a good indication of how the surface will react with traffic.

@garvoca73 Exactly same here. Rolling 10.10 this morning and we’ve only cut once since Monday. 4mm actual height and 40%+ moisture

The 8th hole is now completely finished. Green dropped, reshaped and rebuilt to full USGA spec with a new bunker installed. Tee extended, drained and laser levelled. Let it grow @ShipleyGolf

We’ve been training up the new recruits on various machines this week. The rain has set us back another step but we push on. I ran the Leeds half marathon on Sunday. Not a bad time for an old boy

The 8th green complex is finally finished. Cracking work from all involved. We’ll prep the tee next week and should have it turfed and finished the week after. @pannalgolfclub for the @BIGGAYorkshire1 event now.

Might be a bit late but we’re almost summer ready. 5 days without rain for the first time since Sep! Finish turfing the 8th green complex next week 🙌🏼

8th tee is almost ready for turf thanks to @BA_LTD. The green has had its last flymo cut and will take a hand mower later this week. We’ve removed the stump and plan to grade the left hand side tomorrow. Should be turfing next week. Amazing what a few dry days can do
