Blizzard Entertainment feels like it's cultivating a sterile environment. Not just socially. Yes, another video game post, but think this is my last on the topic for a while. I messed with Overwatch last month for an event, and the experience reminded me of retail World of Warcraft: the "PvP" feels like a compulsive thing you do with your hands to pass time, and that's it. No one cares, no one is trying to improve, it's just herding livestock. Blizzard used to have gamers that at least were trying to get good and not just grind points and get through their day. The indifference is palpable and just.. awful. Just re-queue bro. Just press buttons. And as an aside, it's funny to think especially something like Warcraft is probably mostly for 35+ players, but Blizzard breaks their neck to appeal to the Gamer Supps crowd. If it weren't for their desperate attempt to get children to play their games, they wouldn't need such an insanely policed ToS. That ToS is literally just to protect the kids from themselves, since that's 99% who go apeshit over these games. Especially when you trick them into having "esports" brain. I get why a creepy corporation would want to appeal to children and groom them to play their outdated failing franchises, but as someone who owned Super Mario All Stars, why would anyone that didn't already play WoW waste their time on WoW in 2025

@SuperMegaX50 I can't spend an hour listening to something that could be said in 3 minutes but it sounds like Elon misunderstood Zack's attempt to rib him over PoE but it's understandable I'd not tease someone over losing an incredible feat that i couldn't achieve without tons of help
