Pretty rare for sitting justices to testify in Senate. I think the last may have been Scalia and Breyer together in 2011; Kennedy before that, in 2007.

By this point in most #SCOTUS terms, every justice has written at least one majority opinion. This year, though, 3 justices have yet to write for the court _ Roberts, Thomas and Alito.
