*it's a filly*
Arlo Dorothy Sharp was born 16/3/21, feeling truly blessed.
I once backed Dot The Eye at 240/1 and it saluted which I thought was a pretty cool day-but this tops it.
My nephew Oscar had his first day at school today. Oscar is already a man's man-hunting, training trotters, and farming. A note come home to Mum from his first day at school, and the 10s on pop salutes 😂
Cleaning out my old car, found this picture in the glovebox. Our Sir Vancelot on his farewell retirement tour. St Arnaud I reckon, circa 1999. Looks good the old boy.
Having something small e/w Balmy Bob 50/1 Swan Hill-still looks to be learning about racing a bit, got home late last start at this track-and there's good money up for grabs this race so hopefully they go like cut cats.
Derbies, oaks, breeders crowns, vicbred, and probably a bunch of others-no begrudging success but gee it's ruining the great game and anyone who thinks it's good for the sport is in denial.
"It's a dreadful look for the sport when we've got our leading trainers breaking rules that everyone knows about."
Anthony Butt & Andy Gath on the Emma Stewart breach at Ballarat last Saturday night.

Name a better ambassador for our sport overseas? Be waiting an eternity I think.... The work on social media has been outstanding, and it's only the buildup
A big well done to
@mickstanley80
and
@GbGenbrowne
with the first up performance of Menin Gate - not an easy job taking over the care of a good horse who has been off the scene forever and having to keep them sound whilst everyone is watching
Well we had to wait to almost 11pm in the pissing down rain at Melton on Breeders Crown night, but finally we get to feel something. A result that feels like it really means something to the connections. Thank christ for that. The trifecta was full of battlers, great to see.
Today Ive been invited to a Movie premiere where a song from my band is featured in the film. Previous highlight for the band was supporting Justice Crew at the Birchip Hall, but this might nearly topple that.
Echuca Trotters Cup over a distance , stand start, small track-pump it into my veins. Problem is, its only(mostly) the folks who don't matter(in revolutionizing the sport) that live for em
Bloody top coverage again gents, live action and hearing straight from the participants fantastic. It's a bloody wet dream for folks like myself

Boy oh boy Friday nights have changed. Used to be all about sinking piss, punting on the trots, and watching footy. Now it's all about sinking piss, punting on the trots, and watching 3 little ducks.... In that order.
As a side note, never seen a woman rage more than my Mrs when she found out i auto answered for her that her domestic duties are less than 5 hrs per week. Won't make that mistake again....
Just finished the Census, be interesting to know what some of the 'pro punters' declared as their fortnightly income-it's always a bit hairy when declaring anything, is it not.....
Father in law a $5 running double gallops punter only. I told him to pick a Melton quaddie because of the jackpot on tonight-he opened the shoulders and laid out $1, hows this for a potential result of a goldy, sickening 😅
Imagine having a bloke who plays League Football, and has a huge following, to promote the sport. And he does it all off his own bat, cause he loves the game. We are very lucky.
When I was 4 and lived at the back of the bakery, I'd have some toast for brecky and then walk next door unsupervised to the Mallee Bull Cafe and tell Aunty Lorraine I hadn't eaten.She would oblige with a passion fruit twister, and a Monaco bar if I was still hungry. Good days
I offered $4.5 to my Mrs in the run in Aus Ninja Warrior the last geezer-she had a $50 on and cleaned me out. She says shes taking my credit card to the hairdressers tomorrow now.
Australian race caller Luke Humphreys is at
@cambridgeracewy
taking in all the action tonight
@NiiColeySims
had a chat to him before he calls race 7 on the card
Kerryn Manning marked her return from injury with a late pick-up drive win on GEE CEE CALDER in the THE WEEKLY ADVERTISER TROTTERS HANDICAP. Congratulations owner Tyrone Abela.
Don't like to single out but been common knowledge he is dangerous-take a look at Mr Krafft yet again nearly knocking someone over and basically showing no concern for other horses/drivers
Again
@TheTrotsComAu
exceeding expectations with trots vision coverage tonight-just outstanding 👏👏👏. And if I may say, Queen Kez's interview just then brilliant, her positive demeanor and smile just as infectious as it ever was!
My 22yo nephew learnt the joy of a bet 12 mths ago when he was visiting here. He has visited me again today and 1 of the first thing he asks me is have I heard of arbing, and how he won $41 on Russian Amateur Table Tennis last Wednesday night. I'm concerned.
