Tier List over Halloween Chocolates! Students ranked then discussed w/ table to convince a classmate to change their tier ranking on an item. Such a fun way to practice making claims & providing evidence! We rolled into a group frayer & SKAT-O. #eduprotocols @durham_dragon

6th grade GT Humanities is doing interview prep for the big day! Ss chose famous immigrants to research push & pull factors for coming to America & impact on US & home country. On Mon, Ss will participate in round table discussions as their person. @durham_dragon

@33heupel @eduprotocols This was a new protocol I started using at the end of the year so I was doing it with the Ss as a model. We used the textbook section (2-3 pages typed), and I used it the day after the Ss had already worked with the text. I will have to see how it rolls out this year. 😀🙃
