Potential Tropical Cyclone Nine now on the NHC maps. Newest GFS model and Nahional Hurricane Center guidance indicate a potential stalling close to the coast. It will be interesting to see how this plays out - either way appears to be a big rainmaker potential for the coastal

Hurricane Erin looks intense from satellite view! Cat 5 now. Reports from an Air Force Reserve Hurricane Hunter aircraft indicate maximum sustained winds near 160 mph (255 km/h). The minimum pressure has fallen to near 917 mb (27.08 inches). #erin #hurricane
