The ERCOT Grid failed during the storm because TX natural gas froze at the wellhead and in the pipelines. Comprehensive reports on the failure, by FERC/NERC and the UT Energy Institute, show that natural gas production fell by 85% and natural gas generation fell by more than 50%.

This is a 1993 Citation Encore that the owner purchased at the end of April. It was supposed to fly to MacArthur Airport on Long Island. It appears it overflew MacArthur and flew back toward Tennessee. As a jet pilot, I would deduce the aircraft had a pressurization issue.
