I am literally this lucky 7 years ago an angry mob who had very good reason to be angry with me because I almost drove into them with a truck full or sand that I stole because I was delusional and thought I needed to steal transportation and get to china so I could save the world, attempted to end my life. Just before that a police officer emptied a clip in my direction, but missed. I don't blame the cop or the mob I was dangerous and out of control. But I am so lucky that: * Police did bother to drug test me (cause ofc it looked like I was on drugs) and noted I was not on drugs * Owner of truck was a paragon of human mercy. He saw me in jail and took pity on me, for I was bleeding and broken. He declined to press charges. * After I got out of jail, the US embassy and my parents made sure I got into a hospital (I barely knew where I was) and the doctor who ran this tiny hospital was a great person * Dr. Sokha personally escorted me to Buffalo, NY and kept me sedated while in transit * My parents took me directly to Erie County medical center, and I was correctly diagnosed with bipolar * The medication I was given worked * When I got out of the hospital my family insisted I get right back on my feet * My wife agreed to marry me when I decided that the only right course of action when presented with the overwhelming love she gave me was to marry her * God has blessed me with two children * My parents are healthy * My mental health, while surely not at all normie.... Has permitted me to pursue challenging work that I enjoy .... Due to the above, every day, no matter how challenging, is a good day. God is great. I love you. Never kill yourself.
