More media crossover. Saw Brian & Maggie on C4 last night - well worth a look! Nostalgic for a time when long form political interviews was a Sun morning thing. Interested to dive into the book it was based on: Rob Burley's Why is this Lying Bastard lying to me? Great title 😆

Our first #BookClub of 2025 tonight & we're discussing Joseph Heller's satirical classic illustrating the madness of war - Catch-22 which the group @GuildfordBooks picked from this selection of 'lighter' reads to combat Jan blues.

January's bookclub pick @GuildfordBooks. Theme was lighter reads (to combat Jan blues) & I chucked Catch-22 in the mix at the last minute & of course, they picked it. I'm sure it'll be brilliant but not the lightest. 519 pages to read by next Wed night 🥴 Love the cover though.

Ok, so Henry the Artistic Dog might have just won pin of the year for me 😁🐶💩 Had to move a fair few pins about on my lanyard to fit him (& his separate sculpture!) in front & centre. A dog with big, creative dreams. By Justin Worsley, out 6 Mar.

Other film news - US release date for the film The Life of Chuck - 30 May. Can't wait to see this in the UK. Directed by Mike Flanagan, with an excellent cast, based on the Stephen King story of the same name from the book, If It Bleeds. Has all the makings of a must see.

Hope you're not having a Blue Monday. About 10 yrs ago, Here by Richard McGuire caught my eye. A graphic novel, showing events from one viewpoint across millennia. A unique, visionary piece of work - do have a look at it! Robert Zemeckis has now made a film of it.
