My dog finally goes in his kennel with the “in” command. Without carrying him, or without throwing food inside first. I still have to reward him with food after he goes in though.
But wow this took months, and I am ecstatic.

Alright, I have decided to just keep pushing forward because failure is just part of the process. No point if I keep wailing about it because I'm only holding myself back from growing further.
So bring it on!
After a series of job rejections, I’m starting to wonder if this whole programming thing is even for me. Which is a pretty crappy feeling to have because I genuinely love programming, but sometimes reality just flat out sucks.
Now what do I do?

Over the years I’ve found it much easier to admit my mistakes than to try to protect my ego.
We don’t have to be perfect, and we don’t have to know everything at all times. But we can always learn from the imperfections, and the gaps in knowledge when we are willing to admit it.

To be a developer/programmer/software engineer, you don’t need:
- math background
- a CS degree
- a degree
Although valuable, these aren’t necessary. The only thing you need is to start, and practice. Don’t gatekeep people!
