While we're talking about nominations I forgot to mention that @ottobaxter 's short film The Puppet Asylum has been longlisted in FOUR(4) categories at the British Short Film Awards. Costume, Make up, Prod design and Best Actor for Paul Kaye. That's nice isn't it.

Hi @EE I’m in the US and my phone won’t work. I’m spending £26 per half day on data add ons but only using WhatsApp and maps. There must be something wrong. I can’t contact customer support as it’s only by phone which isn’t working!

Plastic straws are still going strong in LA. Also 4 years ago when I was last here I thought it hilarious you still had to sign receipts with your bank card… but still. little progress there. In other news- they have little delivery robots wheeling around pavements unsupervised.

First night in LA. I was going to watch Scarface at the open air cinema at Hollywood cemetery. But then I remembered it’s 4am in England and I just watched four films on the plane. So instead I bought crisps and dip at trader joes and swam on the roof.

Incredible how often I get an empty seat next to me on planes. Even on almost full flights. Empty seats just gravitate to me. They want my feet on them.
