@pommie331 @ProteomicsNews @chrashwood We are sweeping through conditions (EAD KE, current and mixed CID), right now. Are the stock methods good?

@Popher Copilot says: A fleck of dirt, so quick and sly, Deflects the ions as they zoom by. Reach out to grab it, but it’s gone in a snap, Dodging your grasp, what a static trap.

@ProteomicsNews @chrashwood Also- library free with ztScan. That is the real future when the quads get fast and detectors efficient - spectral purity for peak lists skyrocket. Don’t need libraries then.

@ProteomicsNews @chrashwood Totally agree. It is beautiful. We are collecting some peptide data right now with accumulation times at crazy low accumulation times (45 precursors in a second). But the wild thing is the quality of the low intensity spectra is great!!

@chrashwood @MobilionSystems Challenging to interpret this paper. Not sure about the duty cycle claims - can they trap 400 ms of ions without space charge? Can they focus those ions? How does this work w/complex mix? I really want to know how midia-PASEF Compares? Best of both worlds?

Pumped about this! I wonder if there is any more on the headspace analysis of the microbial colonies on agar? Great work @phenylallyson!
