With food prices soaring, more families are struggling to afford basic meals and facing food insecurity. No one should have to choose between paying bills and feeding their families. We help provide essential food distribution to ensure families in need have access to meals.

Second Story for Teens in Crisis would like to thank all of our supporters and volunteers for their services this past year! Because of your help, we were able to consistently provide our residents with meals, clothes, and toiletries!

Give the gift of a second story this #GivingTuesday! Last year, we answered nearly 500 calls to our teen crisis hotline and provided 176 young people with safe places to stay. We helped families by distributing 25,600 food items. Donate:

Our programs like our Springfield Safe Youth Project are actively hosting drug prevention workshops to educate and empower young people to make healthy, informed choices. Substance abuse is a growing threat in our communities, with young people being particularly vulnerable.

CLIMB is a program developed by @fairfaxcounty to initiate a career path in youth who are seeking to develop career skills. This program was able to connect our youth with essential skills in the labor market and teach them job principles for a promising career path!

Our Annandale Safe Youth Project had an amazing time with @fairfaxparks Wonder Wagon! 🍃 This program brings nature to urban spaces, helping youth explore plants and de-stress. For many families, barriers like time & transport make access hard! This changes that!
