That tiny panel is from an ongoing series I’m working on about the end of our world and what comes after it. And this opossum happens to be the main character
Trash witch from The Council of Frogs. Collector of odds and ends and of fine stews and teas. Not sure if she’ll have a spot in another story yet, but you can see her in the book if you haven’t picked up a copy yet!
Lots of love for the frogs lately! Figured I should say that The Council of Frogs book campaign will launch this fall, so stick around if you like this little guy and want to know his story
The cover to Those That Inherit the Earth sans text. Any excuse to draw opossums is good enough for me, and I’m sure I’ll be revisiting this little guy’s story in the future
Swamp lich waking up to greet his frog children. Another page from The Council of Frogs, which you can still preorder from my site (along with other books and frog related things)
Sharing these two pals one more time because their story will be in Dagger Dagger Vol. 2, launching next week! I can’t wait to show off all the other excellent work everyone has has in the book, but for now sign up below
Patches for DAGGER DAGGER have arrived! This was my first time designing a patch (I think I did alright?) - check below to snag one of these along with the book
Tremors may be the only licensed/franchise thing I would really love to work with. Like a novella length graboid comic or something. I’m very much working on too much at the moment, but somebody who knows the right people help me out here
I’m Matt Emmons, a big fan of making sci-fi and fantasy comics, I’m currently working on finishing up my book The Council of Frogs, as well as another fantasy series for later this year

The frog book is a lot of things, but the backbone of it is a dad doing the best he can for his kids. Those kids just happen to be frogs, and he happens to be an undead swamp lich
Down to the final THREE DAYS of The Council of Frogs campaign so here’s one of my favorite pages from it. This little frog has a few fights with some creatures much bigger than him along his journey
Really feeling this one lately. From Those That Inherit the Earth - gonna start doing more stories in this setting this year and the thought of that’s been keeping me going
