Playing Halo 2 right now and makes me realize how much the core mechanics of h5 are dumbed down. In h2 there's no nade hit markers or hit markers in general, footsteps are quiet so you have to have awareness, when you get shot there's no fucking arrow telling you where from.

Everything about this game screams skill gap and competitiveness. BUT most of us remember this game for simply being the most fun. Zombies on foundation, tower of power, hide and seek on ivory tower. It was competitive to the highest degree and still was attractive to casuals.

Placed top 6 this weekend but top 6 is a huge disappointment when your team is as talented as ours is. I was done with halo and these dudes dragged me out of retirement and gave me a chance. No clue what's next but all I know is if it's halo related I hope it's with this group.

Its literally easy for 343. Take away all this babying bullshit and make a skillful shooter with basic movement and skillful SHOOTING mechanics/button combos that are made aware to everyone from day one. But instead they're hell-bent on pushing their subpar watered down Halo.

I enrolled in community College with the eventual goal of a bachelor degree in Computer sciences. Whether I compete or not in the future is uncertain. But one thing is certain. Halo has changed me for the better. And I appreciate everyone reading this.

Tell me if I'm crazy. The shot reg is solid in MCC insider, but try to move your reticle in the smallest circle possible. You can't, it only does horizontal and vertical movements until you start going in a wider circle. Like it's aiming on a grid. Anyone else notice this?.

@Moses_FPS Dude, other BR's have to make up an insane story just to justify making a BR game. Fortnite and Apex have done great. Halo with drop pods/odst's/Pelican's has the ultimate sandbox for a fun, creative BR. IMO a Halo BR done right would be one of the funnest things of all time.

@MLGACE Unfortunately Aaron I think a lot of the community knows it at this point. We know what we want, a classic, simple, challenging halo. 343 is just too stubborn or too entrenched in their version of Halo to revert back at this point though is what it looks like.
