@AngelJawed @JimDMiller @mattyglesias I asked the same question until somebody pointed out to me that the chicken we eat is grown in a prison system with a lifespan of growing o ly certain amount of days whereas the chicken that lay eggs have to grow older to do so.

@Mikeggibbs Every single Canadian that throws a tantrum and suggest to Canceled their trips to the US or not by US products is complicit in the fentanyl problem. What happened to you people up there?

Gamer4life you seem like another swell guy. Sheesh. “The justification for imposing tariffs on Canada, as articulated by recent political actions and rhetoric, includes several key points: 1. **National Security and Border Security**: The U.S. has cited issues related to border security, particularly concerning the flow of illegal drugs like fentanyl across the Canadian border. The White House has specifically mentioned growing production of fentanyl in Canada as a concern, which is used as a reason to pressure Canada into cooperating more on these issues.[]( 2. **Trade Deficits**: There's an argument based on the imbalance in trade where the U.S. has a growing trade deficit with Canada. Tariffs are seen as a method to level the playing field or to encourage Canada to open its markets further to U.S. goods.[]( 3. **Economic Leverage**: Tariffs are also used as economic leverage to negotiate better terms in trade agreements or to push for specific policy changes in Canada. This can be seen in the context of broader economic policies like "Buy American" initiatives to strengthen the U.S. economy by making foreign goods less competitive.[]( 4. **Protectionism**: There's a protectionist aspect where tariffs are justified to protect U.S. industries from what some perceive as unfair competition from Canadian products, possibly due to perceived structural advantages in manufacturing or other sectors. 5. **Immigration Control**: Similar to drug trafficking, there's a mention of immigration control where tariffs might be used to motivate Canada to manage or control illegal immigration into the U.S. more effectively.[]( These justifications show a mix of economic, security, and political motivations behind the decision to impose tariffs on Canada. However, the effectiveness and economic impact of such measures are subjects of ongoing debate, with potential negative repercussions on both sides of the border being highlighted by various analyses.”

@RonFilipkowski @JustinTrudeau My gosh Justin, close your border to bad guys and drugs, how simple is this - it’s almost as if you are OK with it.

@MiddlingtheMid @JazzyJ87283918 @LqLana @No_Suffer_Fools Jay, you are such a Sherlock. Violent criminals tend to hang out in blue cities. Lana, shame on you for not disclosing that one of those brothers has a pretty bad criminal record. Look for real cases of what you suspect is going on.

@RockNRoLL_85 Prior to this historic day, Paul fantasized about playing in some public spot and having the cops show up, that’s why he got so excited as soon as he saw the cops, with his yelp 🤣

Wait for it: “Do us presidents normally go to the sites of airplane crashes? U.S. Presidents do not have a standard practice of visiting the sites of airplane crashes, but they might visit for various reasons: - **Showing Solidarity and Support**: Presidents often visit disaster sites to demonstrate solidarity with affected communities, to mourn with families, and to acknowledge the efforts of first responders. This act can also be seen as a symbol of national unity during times of tragedy. - **Political and Public Relations**: Visits can serve political purposes, including showing leadership, empathy, or to use the occasion to make policy statements or address public concerns, like safety and security. For instance, after the Washington DC plane crash, President Donald Trump's visit was mentioned in relation to meeting with family members rather than visiting the crash site directly, suggesting a focus on condolence and support rather than the physical site itself. - **Security and Disruption**: Presidential visits involve significant security measures and can disrupt ongoing rescue or recovery operations. - **Historical Precedent**: There isn't a consistent record of presidents visiting every significant airplane crash site. However, notable exceptions include when the event has national significance, involves a high number of casualties, or when there's a perceived need for presidential intervention or visibility. For example, President Biden visited the sites of the 9/11 attacks, which included a plane crash site, on the 20th anniversary to commemorate the event. Thus, while not routine, presidential visits to airplane crash sites can occur when they align with broader objectives like national mourning, political messaging, or showing support to the community and emergency services. The decision often depends on the specific circumstances of the crash, its impact, and the logistical considerations of such a visit. “

@TechAce65 @ShawnMcDowell74 @OfHomoSapiens @AOC Tech ace why would I complain if I knew exactly what the reason was. Just remember these are all temporary tactics. Also, if I need to go a year without buying something from Mexico, I will, and you will too.

Philbear I have the pleasure of proving you wrong on this, take a look at the below and also remember that well over half of the Aryan members are liberals without a cause and can’t stand Republicans. I hope you’ve learned something: “Based on various reports and analyses available online, the following are considered among the top three violent gang groups in the United States known for their involvement in violent and illegal actions: 1. Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13) - Known for its extreme violence, MS-13 is one of the most notorious gangs originating from El Salvador but with a significant presence in the U.S. They are involved in drug trafficking, murder, extortion, and other violent crimes. Their reputation for brutality includes the use of machetes and other melee weapons in conflicts. 2. 18th Street Gang (Barrio 18) - This gang is one of the largest and most violent street gangs in the world, with a significant presence in the United States. They engage in activities like drug trafficking, murder, robbery, and extortion. They have a long-standing rivalry with MS-13, which often leads to violent confrontations. 3. Aryan Brotherhood - While more of a prison gang, the Aryan Brotherhood has influence outside prison walls and is known for its violent activities. They engage in drug trafficking, murder, and other serious crimes, often with a white supremacist ideology. Their operations extend to various states, particularly where they have significant membership in correctional facilities.”

Tech Ace if you are seriously saying that you are willing to immediately pay lower prices for CERTAIN things knowing that will enable criminal foreign national illegal immigrants to have full disgusting access to our citizens including your family and friends, then all I can say is that you are a lost soul that just doesn’t care. Yuch.

Sean and Ron, do you really think that honest hard-working family oriented people that are sick of criminal activities by illegal immigrants honestly give a hoot about the 27% of the US coffe drinking population’s complaints that Colombian coffee is going to be more expensive temporarily? I just don’t understand you’re thinking and what is wrong with you. We already have enough to deal with our own internal criminals.

Aunt Artica no I mean a cold glass of ideally 2% milk that one buys from a modern supermarket. And I certainly don’t mean mixing the milk in the wine. You have two glasses side-by-side and then drink from each as you please as you wolf through a huge gorgeous steak, potatoes, and another dish.

@ShawnMcDowell74 @OfHomoSapiens @AOC The people, including a congresswoman who are placing Colombian coffee as a higher priority over criminal actions by illegal immigrants, just blows me away.
