@NealCoolong @NFL_DougFarrar Exactly. Every physical sport has the same issues, and when calls are close, even with all the replays, cognitive bias comes into play; like a Rorschach test, people see what they want to see… and many fans want to see only what benefits their team (or “cheated” it).

@NealCoolong We agree that it’s not rigged, of course, but I don’t think I’m underselling Swift’s impact in the slightest. To the league, any eyeballs she adds are gravy. The game is the main course. That’s why I’m drawing comparisons to *real* things to potentially be concerned about.
