Agreed, Solo is solid. I wish we could have seen more from him this season.
Solovyov is ready for the 50+ game sample, will be a perfect partner for Parekh when ready. #Flames

@Clarkian1900 True. I just wish Huska designed his 4th line to contribute something beyond energy and grind. When you aren’t blessed with a bunch of elite talent in your top six, I think it’s wise to have a 4th line that can at least chip in occasionally.

@blakec1414 Yeah, that’s fair enough. I just don’t think 30ish goals is realistic for him to sustain.

@Schiefer4 @pierreanalytics @JFreshHockey I don’t think it’s really about that. Makes no sense to attach the value of one’s opinion to point production. It’s, “you’re knocking our guy, we’re going to give you shit, too.” The most wholesome thing they can use to smack back is that he wasn’t a good player

@Dylan12695203 Chris Kreider ,who is the prototypical netfront cleanup guy, has a career shooting % of 15. Another guy like that Tyler Bertuzzi 14.4% The old school master Patric Honrqvist — who pretty much only scored net front — 9.4%

@ToothlessBoomer Production for ROR and Eichel didn’t change significantly after leaving Buffalo. The Sabres play a more offensively aggressive system than the Flames — stands to reason he’ll have a tougher time here.

@HProductionsYYC Yeah, it feels like there are a few teams bidding for him. Way too much smoke around a very mid middle-six C.
