Soup friends. There are only 2 of us but I like to make a big batch. I picked up these souper cubes at Lee Valley and I can freezer my soup in 1 cup or 2 cup measures. Love them. Good for stock too

I make ginger cookies for a friend, she make some nougat. She was out so we did porch X change. What kind of monster doesn’t cut the nougat so you can have a piece in the car!?!?!

I just found out that my high school science teacher, Mr. Katzberg, was not only a real human outside of school but he had a grandson…who just won an Olympic gold medal. Way to go Mr. K.

For over a decade, someone has been coming into my garden and leaving garden creatures. I looked out today and saw 2 light coming from the pond. It was solar powered frog. I also found an owl.

Today there was no supply teacher so I taught gr 5. I’ve called the high school to get a Van der Graaf generator & a Tesla coil. The gr 5 electricity unit is getting an upgrade.

Today I returned to a place I worked 25 yr ago to be interviewed for the 40th Anniversary event. I used to operate this sweet machine we called Sophie. She’s been replaced by a fully automated system now. The interviewer could not believe we operated it by hand.

Orthopod appt today. OA in my knee, zero cushioning, bony growth impeding mvmt, can’t ride my bike, likely require an off-loading brace until..a knee replacement. So I got myself this anti-fatigue mat to brighten my day. I am thankful I can still do as much as I can.
