Good to be back on the conference circuit and to hear so many intriguing talks. If I had to quibble: it would be the pinnacle of awesome if speakers could stop reading their papers or slides to me. Here's a bit of advice, on how to improve such talks.

I'm sure there'll be a BA thesis, or at least a term paper or two, in this for creative #ChineseStudies students here @LeidenHum. That would give me a chance to learn more about this, without having to play it myself... F2P gotcha mobile games aren't really my jam. #gamestudies
Wrote some notes on what could be the biggest launch from Chinese studios this year: Wuthering Waves. Yes, bigger than Black Myth Wukong, maybe. @Wuthering_Waves Link in 🧵(because Twitter's algorithm crushes visibility for substack links...)

What an amazing line-up. If you're in or near Oxford and want to hear a great discussion about contemporary #China, I can warmly recommend joining @carwyn, Margaret Hillenbrand, Pang Laikwan, Frederico Picerni, and @XeniaQianHuang for this event. I'm really jealous I'm not there.
Tomorrow in Oxford, send your friends, your Romans, and your country people because i need ears. I'm not going to say anything interesting because I'll be making the audience do my talk for me; participatory? Lazy? You be the judge.

Thank you, @China_Digital. It was great having you there. And yes, the feeling's entirely mutual: looking forward to all the great (and fun!) things we'll be getting up to @UniLeiden in the coming years, especially now that we have so much excellent 'digital Asia' talent here.
