@frightfulHoblin Right, I definitely don't take this worry to be *anything* like a decisive consideration here. But I do think responding with "what a nice problem that would be to have" undersells the risk that this sort of thing might undermine the contributions of DEI even in the present?

@ericesheng Yes, although in a Kantian context, I would push back a bit on the association between the a priori and the innate in your previous post, which seems to me a questionable there.

@ericesheng I don’t have a real disagreement on either of these points, my real concerns are more meta-historical - eg if we give up on the idea of a single universal narrative and concede the point about actors categories, what might remain? I’m tempted to say, more than one might think?
