I would always suggest aspirants to go for DNB if you are not getting MD/MS in your speciality of choice.
In some specialities like Ophthalmology, DNB is in fact superior to doing a MS from a govt medical College!
For NEETSS some DrNB courses surpass DM/MCh.

If you are planning to take General Surgery for
#NEETPG
counselling, be sure you want it.
Surgery is a good branch but do not take it if you think you would get easy returns and an easy path ahead.

'Bailey & Love's Short Practice of Surgery' is such a beautifully written book.
I have never appreciated it during my UG days or even in my PG days, but it caught hold of me in my recent years of practice.
However, the best time to read it is in your final year MBBS!

So two cases of traumatic urethral rupture in tandem at the ER..both at the BMJ.
I could place catheter in one by Flexible Cystoscopy while SPC was advised for the other(complete tear).
So the take-home point is:ALWAYS inflate the bulb ONLY after urine appears!

Neural tube would have already formed by the time a woman knows she is pregnant; hence the emphasis on starting folic acid as soon as a couple plans for pregnancy.
