@EmilioLees Looks like you have a similar issue to me! My physio told me I need to sit at a 90 degree angle and this is not happening because of my short legs 😂 I use this footrest and I think it does help:

Assistive technology help needed! Anyone know if you can change the touch settings on the Tobii I-10 so that it only responds to finger touch? Child’s wrist is dropping and activating unwanted cells. A keyguard doesn’t seem to prevent this happening. @TobiiDynavox @rwgAT 😊🙏

Glad I found the webinar with @sazalder on AAC apps this evening. Really clear presentation and way of presenting and a nice reminder to reduce some of the paralysis and overwhelm that can happen when looking at the trillions of apps out there! Thanks Sarah.

@AlpanaMarwaha1 There wasn’t much awareness about ableism back then so I didn’t really understand what was happening… I just felt like I was a nuisance as I was made to feel that way! I’m really hopeful that this is changing and this video definitely made me feel some positivity 😊

@sophtheslt I had an interesting chat with a parent lately about social media…I’d talked to her about her child being a GLP and she then followed a few accounts on instagram and she felt like she learned so much from the digestible media can be positive!

@LGilmartin_SLT I think it’s available on Sky. I watched it through the Now TV app… It was produced by Louis Theroux so it’s well put together. Warning, it is very disturbing but I think it’s important to raise awareness of some of these very dodgy techniques that are used 😖

@EmilioLees Yes I find this a tricky one. I don’t take a deposit as I understand that children can get sick and I’d feel bad to charge…also if they feel they have to come anyway, having an autoimmune disease, colds and flus hit me hard 😫 But it is surprising how many cancel on the day!
