We were told to take a week off work. Very dangerous! So, I researched and created this website instead! I will be adding to it in the coming months (years!), but I am so looking forward to be writing and researching local history again!

Maybe I can be an MP in my next career!! This is fab, so many history degrees, shows how important humanities is. Maybe my degree and masters is worth something after all!

Fab day back on site! The before and after photos of the trenches today. Only a clear up, opened up one test pit and it started falling with water! Had to also include the sheep on one of the spoil heaps! #archaeology

I know this isn’t strictly eligible for #FindsFriday as it was her skull that was found, but she is always worth a post! One of the ‘Meet the Ancestors’ recreations, and acquired for £1 and a song! (Currently living in a box in my bedroom!)

Did my own version of Oak Academy today for non-specialist teachers. One of them said the pupils loved it and she was really impressed with the video. Those 7 attempts were worth it! #teaching
